I was on holiday last week and had the pleasure of smelling wild honeysuckle in the hedgerows - sweet and delicate, which made me wonder if any snuff manufacturers made a honeysuckle snuff. If not I will have to make my own, but I think the scent would make a popular snuff.
sandy, you just gave me an excellent idea. Thank you so much.
LoL leave it to Pieter!
I would like to try that. My kids still like to suck the honeysuckle juice like I did.
Damn it, lol. You beat me to it. I was out of town on work and was thinking what snuffs could be made that , as far as I knew, didnt exsist. Wild Honeysuckle grows like crazy here in GA and the summer evenings smell of the sweet scent of this plant, its a delicate yet very nice aroma. Also, any of you ever take the flower and pluck the middle thistles out and taste the nectar… delicious indeed.
I’ve actually been waiting for the honey suckle to bloom since winter so that I could scent some snuff. Now that it has, I haven’t had the time to gather some. I had very good luck with lemon flowers and Toque Natrual a few months ago.
I’ve made quite a bit of honeysuckle snuff, its great. Toque Natural makes a great base for it. Gave some to stitch last summer and he seemed to like it as well. My honeysuckle plants just started to bloom this year so it will be time to make some more soon.
