Bought some pure caffeine the other week and today had the idea, why not mix with snuff i like taking. So i mixed with O&G and… its amazing! and you can customize your hit. Plus pure caffeine is dirt cheap. 100g for £3.70. Surely there has to be some reason why they don’t sell them. Maybe it does something to the tobbaco? well i recon ill keep making batches of it, and organize them into different strengths ranging from 1 hour sleep slap in the face to a light energy boost.

Great Idea! I wonder what the bioavailability of caffeine is insufflated? I could not find anything on pubmed. Please test this out and let me know; I am very interested in your results.

I think there is or was a caffeinated snus now that you mention it. I’m happy using my powdered guarana for snuffing.

Because then one pinch of snuff would have less tobacco in it. Caffeine would take up valuable tobacco space. Yes there is a caffeinated snus, Absolut. Even legal in the UK.

nasaly taken caffine is interesting it seems to come on faster and not last as long. I find it is good for the mornings where making that cup of coffee or tea is just too difficult. Though caffinated gum is great too it also seems to work better then drinking the stuff. The only caffinated gum I’ve tried is Black Black from japan, highily recommend it.

I used to get this brand of caffeinated gum, and mints, made by Penguin. The gum was cola flavored, and not too bad. The mints, well, were mints. You could definitly feel them, and worked pretty fast. Dunno if they are still around…

I am brand new to snuff, so I don’t know what the average size in g’s a pinch of snuff is or the standard deviation around that. But assuming a pinch is .1g, your ratio will produce .033g caffeine and .066g snuff, correct? If a cup of coffee has 100mg in it, than one or two pinches should do the trick. Have you tested it yet? How has it gone?

I wish you didn’t have to order it and that someone sold it around here. The funny thing is I think if stores carried it the stuff would sell. I’ve found the ginsing gum by lotte but never black black (which doesn’t have nicotine).

the reason folks want a cigarette with their cup of coffee is because nicotine helps metabolize caffeine. A caf/nic snuff is like getting on a mouse’s exercise wheel, lol. Personally, I like coffee in a mug.

@Mouse, I agree that I particularly like coffee in a mug but am finding that SG Black Coffee is still a wonderful experience. Nice to experience real coffee flavor vicariously…

I will have to look online for a place to buy some caffeine. Anyone in the US know of such a place?

@nosemboss its all over ebay for cheap and being that it is sold as a nutritional/body building supplement you might be able to find it at a gnc or similar store that sells that kind of thing. If I remember I’ll check when my wife drags me to the mall later lol.

CAFE11 has plenty of caffeine and a good bit of nicotine. This snuff is addicting and so chocolatey good, Another kryptonite for the shaman

You would think that it would not be sold in stores because of restrictions on the amount that is allowed in a product. Wouldn’t it be easier to just by some energy capsules and break them open to snuff? Back in the day, we had a product that you made that was called “Crank” for those who felt that they needed that burst to the 11th floor

You can find pure caffeine on amazon.com as well as ebay. I got 10g of quality caffeine from a licensed distributor of health products on amazon.com for around $8 shipped. It has no smell and came with a micro scoop to measure it out. I am very happy with it. I bought it to save on the cost of energy drinks and coffee/tea to get my caffeine. It works great and is better for you than energy drinks like Red Bull and Monster. 10g is enough for a while. I haven’t tried snuffing it but I did think about it when I remembered the “Energy Snuffs” I had seen on the internet. May have to try mixing it with some snuff.

What ratio of caffeine to snuff would you guys recommend? Of course everyone’s different, but not knowing anything about this topic what would you say to start with?

I recently bought some more pure caffeine powder (caffeine anhydrous) because I was running low, and for you guys here that mix it with snuff or snuff the caffeine straight I thought I should let you know that this recent purchase of mine had a warning to avoid prolonged contact with skin or mucous membranes. So snuffing it might not be a good idea in the long run. Just wanted to let everyone know. @basement_shaman do you know if WoS Irish Coffee has caffeine in it? I just acquired some and I love it!

I overdosed from sniffing pro-plus (caffeine tablets) in my younger and stupider days. Was excited to find that they sold them in 100s at the time and, shortly afterwards, suffered an ‘epileptic type seizure’. Very scary and painful. Now I avoid all caffeine. Just a note of caution- pure caffeine is a powerful, addictive drug.

@md363 I would only be speculating If I said yes, does it have whiskey in it? :-?? The only thing I am sure of is that it has tobacco in it.Unless the manufactures disclose this information

@basement_shaman it has a very slight whisky scent but mostly I get a creamy coffee scent. I also contacted WoS directly through their website and asked them, hopefully I’ll get a response. I’ll post with their answer.

I’ve been adding powdered guarana to snuff recently. By itself, its woody and rather bland, and I don’t know how much to use… but mixing a little in with black joe fugazi, along with some rustica fin seems to be uplifting. By itself, I find the black joe really fine and oily, hitting my throat making me cough. I tried the guarana mixed in and it took about 1/2 an hour before I felt anything… Don’t want to mess w/ pure caffeine, I like coffee just fine.

@mrmanos according to wikipedia, guarana, when taken orally, is usually consumed in two 50mg doses per day or one 75mg dose per day. I would say you probably don’t want to take more than 100-120mg per day in total. 100mg is probably about 8 appleseed sized pinches if your snuffing it straight.

I got my guarana powder in the mail today, about 4oz of it for around $8, and this morning before going to work I snuffed a small pinch in each nostril and about 15min later, WOW, it was like 3 or 4 espresso shots all at once and kept me going throughout the day until I got home a minute ago. I still feel caffeinated as I am typing this! This stuff is great for me and I recommend trying it, but maybe go with some bulk powder like I did rather than the brand name labeled “Energy Snuff” with guarana. The only bad thing about it is that it smells like a food seasoning, like cumin or cajun seasoning some have said.

Many years ago a Guy I knew used it to mix other sniffing powder with and I was thinking bout using it for my homemade snuffs been looking for it around here also thought about lidocane powder a tiny bit in your really heavy nose burn snuffs
