i am starting to grow my own tobacco , it will be completly organic and turned to snuff ill keep you updated and samples will be available asap
Cool! Interested!
Are you going to be growing it inside with hydroponic lights? I’ve grown a couple times and I could offer you advice on seedstores/harvesting or anything like that if you need it.
thanks john yeah im growing indoors already orderd the seed any advice on watering and such would be apreciated thanks
I predicted many years ago that people would start growing their own as Tobacco taxes went through the roof. No doubt quite a few others did as well. High Times magazine has numerous adverts for indoor growing supplies, which would work as well for Tomatoes and Tobacco as…erm…other stuff. Let us know how it turns out!
will do thanks sure i can sort you guys some samples
maybe a dumb question but is tobacco completely un-regulated to grow in the US, no licenses or permits? Not that they would be observed…
i cant answer that im in england uk
Snuffster, I’m pretty sure if one is growing it for one’s personal use, ie not trying to sell it, its not a problem.
who say it was for sale you div
What the hell is a div, some sort of British insult?
Yes, it’s an insult and totally uncalled for here.
especialy since there is no accurate way to attribute it to anyone on this subject, since no one said it was for sale in the first place. Is it possible this is a whisper gone wrong?
I think you can sell it (raw) since it can’t really be used that way. Someone not long back said a tobacco company would pay per leaf to whoever brought them in.
As of this year, an individual is still able to grow his own and I believe sell it to tobacco companies without a tobacco “base”, as they say. Don’t hold me to that, but that’s what I was told.I was also told this will be changing SOON.
the seeds have sprouted im very excited
I have been thinking about growing some tobacco for several years now. Most of the past/older generations of my family worked in the tobacco industry. I would like to go down to KY to my family’s farm and get several 5 gallon buckets of the soil. Where they used to grow tobacco, and probably still do. (it has been sold to different people now, but I hear they are still related to me somehow) That way it can have some more sentimental value to it., but we’ll see. Since coming here and reading this I went and ordered the seeds. This gives me plenty of time before next spring to get all the info and supplies I need. I can’t wait til winter is over now, too bad it hasn’t even started!!
