High Snuff VS Stone Snuff

Hello to everybody, my name is Ed and i want first tell you that your community is the only one i found on the web. So thank you to be here ! Here i come : im a beginner in the world of snuff and i have some questions First, i found differences in varieties of snuff about tastes, but not about effects. I was wondering if exists differents kinds of snuff about cerebrals and physics effects. I stopped smoking ( cigarettes and marijuana ) 3 months ago and im a lokking for some " High " snuff ( which boost, speed, give motivation ) for day and " Stone " snuff ( which relax you, asleep ) for evening. I think you know what i mean. I use snuff for substitution and I hope snuff can varies about effects and not just about tastes. Secondly, what is the best version for taking snuff : slowly ( like when youre smelling some food ) or hardly ( like you sniff when you have a cold ) ? And last one, do you know if the snuff have any incidences on lungs ? I had two pneumothorax ( thats why i stopped smoking ) and I want to know if snuffing regulary can damage more my lungs. Thats all for the moment dudes, thanks again to this forum to exist and I hope you will soon answer to me ! Ciao

From what I understand, Snuff doesn’t do lung damage because the goal is to keep it in the front of your nostrils, not down your throat or into your sinuses. There is also a lower risk to using snuff as opposed to other forms of tobacco. There are several threads on that topic around here. Just search for them. There are also different ways to take snuff. I dump some on the back of my hand and sniff it. It’s a sharp, but shallow inhale. Again, the goal is to get it in the front of your nose, not down your throat or in your sinuses. It’ll take some time to get the correct sniff down pressure wise. Some pinch a bit between the thumb and forefinger and sniff it like that. Another technique is to pinch and press your fingers just inside your nostrils and take a slow inhale, like sniffing food. Of course, how sharply you sniff is dictated by the moisture content and how coarse or fine the grind of the snuff is. Experience and patience will show you over time. Like all things, it takes practice. Here is a guide that answers tons of questions about snuff, and is especially helpful. As for stregnth, there are many different snuffs out there, and in my experience and from reading the forum, there is something for everyone. A quick search will help you make choices. Snuff Reviews.com is also a good place to find reviews of different snuffs. I hope that answers some of your questions. Hopefully many more people will come by and offer better answers than what I can give. Welcome to the wonderful world of snuff!

As mentioned, there are different ways to take the snuff, and to goal is not to get it past your nose into your sinuses, so its unlikely to cause any more harm to your lungs. My lungs thanked me after taking up snuff! Just remember: …and use the search function…lots of good info here.

Thank you for answers, i know now what is the way to snuff without damage for lungs. Thanks a lot for schema, its helpfull. And yeah of course i did research before posting, but i didnt find anything about " high " or " stone " snuff. Even in reviews, people mention level of nicotine or tastes but not physics effects. Maybe I schearch with wrong words, english is not my natural language… So any ideas about brands or types of snuff which give strong effects like im looking for ?

@ed75, FWIW I personally use TOBACCO snuff for the dual benefit of the nicotine and olfactory pleasures from the scents. Forgive me if I misunderstand your query, but if it’s a physical high you are after I’m not really sure you’ll accomplish that with tobacco.

Well in general coarser ground snuffs release slowly into the blood causeing more of a slow mellow type of effect. Finer ground snuffs enter the blood stream faster makeing for a more stimulating snuff (often the grind of the snuff I choose to use gets coarser as the evening progresses.) This has to do with how much nicotine enters your system quickly or more slowly. Your other question are you doing snuff right? Well look around at the millions of ways people snuff. Try them when you get the least discomfort and the most defined scent that means you’re doing it right.

Hi, if your looking for something that will give you the same effect as marijuana you will be dissapointed I think (never felt the need to try that). The strenght might differ but it’s more about enjoyment and not the effects you’re looking for. I do get a boost from “Rooster” and there are some snuffs I like to take before going to bed that make me relax more but the effects are minimal at most.

I just found the topic " shooting snuff " in this forum, im reading it for the " stone " snuff part. Very interessting topic, i picked up Toque SP extra, Hopfen Shcnupf and F&T French Carotte… I will buy theses one and tell you what… Im still looking for " high " snuff, thank to bob I look now to finer grounds ( maybe High Toast or F&T Seville ? ). And of course i know that there is no comparaison beetween snuff and marijuana, and that effects are pretty the same with every kinds of snuff because just the nicotine has action. I just caricatured my questions for you understand me easy. If you have any ideas or recommandations, please tell me !

I don’t know of any adresses in Brussels, or anywhere else in Belgium, only in the Netherlands where you can find a limited assortiment of Poshl snuffs at a much greater cost. But why search in Belgium, you can find all of the snuffs online in the UK for a much smaller amount of money. I would recommend trying some of the different kinds of snuff to see what you like most. You can find some 450 plus snuffs I’ve tried with there discription on my site: http://tinyurl.com/ylclxfv

At the risk of putting you off snuff for life, have you considered NTSU. As far as I know, its the nearest you will get to being stoned on snuff. It comes in black (normal) and menthol, which is more like peppermint. Its made in South Africa, stinks of ammonia and has a nicoteen hit beyond belief. In my opinion, it needs to be used fresh from the container, damp and reeking of ammonia. Remarkably coarse, its almost imposible to sniff and is usually shoved in the nose and the nostrils pinched for a couple of seconds to keep it there. Then take the next few breaths through your mouth so you dont inhale the ammonia. Its a “love it or hate it” snuff. I love it. Go to the discussions marked NTSU and NTSU!!! (there are two) and read what others think of it.

welcome ed75. Here are a few things about snuff I have found. It smells good, and helps with the nicotine fits. Your upper-downer question seems to be more on the practice; as you’ve admitted, of drug use. That’s not what snuff is. But coming from someone who has also quit the weed, are you into any sports? Start volleying the soccer ball in the morning, and if by lunch your feeling sluggish, do some chair stretches in your cubicle. When night time comes after doing some sit-ups and you’ve went a whole day without snuff, that’s just fine. Take it if you like it, leave it alone if you don’t.

Thank London, i will try NTSU i think its what iam looking for. And for sport squarefind, i unfortunately work all the time ( i study architecur the day and work in a pub the evening ) so I just have 1 hour each week for chinese boxing and thats all. But dont worry I keep on whithout weed and cigarettes, snuff is just when I drink alcool or after a big meal with wine. Thanks to all who answered me, Ill try a lot of differents snuffs and choose my favorites And again, if you have some recommandations, tell me Ed

“The stimulant of the Jamamadi Indians is a tobacco-based snuff (Nicotiana tabacum L.) mixed with with the bark ash of a wild species of cacau (Theobroma subincanum Mart.). Tobacco leaves are dried beside a fire or on top of a convex metal bowl where they are rolled with a wooden rolling pin to squeeze out the juices. A fire of the cacau bark is made and the ash gathered. The dried tobacco leaves and the cacau ash are mixed in about equal quantities in a mortar made of an empty Brazil nut pyxidium and a hard bit of wood. this produces a fine powder which the Jamamadi call shina. It is in common use among all members of the tribe and they prefer freshly made snuff which they prepare every day. The shina snuff is administered by sucking it into the nostrils through a small pipe made from a hollow leg bone of a monkey. One person will hold out the snuff on a leaf while the other draws it into his or her nostrils (see Photo 7.4). Even small children take this snuff, which has an intoxicating effect on the users. They appear inebriated and talk of light-headedness. This snuff is a powerful intoxicant, but it is not a hallucinogenic. The Jamamadi were insistent that the snuff is ineffective without the Theobroma bark ash, and said that they never take pure tobacco snuff.” -Handbook of Medicinal Plants p.146 Book Link This snuff is also thoroughly sieved before use and the usual dose is about a half teaspoonful. Snuff freshly made from unflavoured twist tobacco and alkalized with 1 gram of baking soda to 25 grams of tobacco makes a fair substitute for the above.

Three of my favorites ed75 big meals, alcohol, and Chinese boxing, I think you’ll be alright. Enjoy the snuff voyage.

ed75, snuff has nothing to do with drugs, but yet DO IT! It can both bring you to a world of plessure and satisfy your nicotine needs. Snuff goes great with work. It keeps your mind fresh and clear. But with drink is even better! Right now i’m drinking a bottle of plum rakia and dumping a huge mountains of Toque Absinthe. Duude!, i’m in parallel universe. Everything looks better. I’m in Heaven! But don’t do this if yoy don’t have a high nic tolerance. I’m an ex 60-80 cigs per day smoker. Now i find cigarettes boring and not satisfying, so BEWARE!

Just for information, I give you my " playlist " I took : Wilsons Irish High Toast No.22 Cafe Noir Snuff - Snuff Store Toque Spanish Gem Snuff McChrystal’s Original Genuine Snuff Toque Chocolate Snuff Fribourg & Treyer Seville Snuff Stammheimer Hopfen Schnupf McChrystals Fribourg & Treyer High Dry Toast Snuff Red Bull Snuff Gletscherprise Snuff Zwiefacher Schmalzler Snuff Bernard As you can see I took a little of everything, with a favour for " black " snuff ( not fruity ). I tried to take the " bests reviews " of snuff. Ill tell you what I prefer soon ! Thanks to all who answered me and to this forum which help me a lot to choose and understand the world of snuff See you Ed

Snuff is a drug. It makes me feel very good. Nothing wrong with that. Obviously its a very responsible drug. The worst effect of it is running out of it. So is my tea. It is safer then ice cream (which could be considered a drug too if you want). Seriously I don’t snuff just because it smells nice but because I like what it does to my body and brain chemistry when I have it and hate what it does to my chemistry when I don’t have it.

@ bob: ice cream (and all milk products) contain casomorphin which is a mild opiate.

So that explains a lot. Like why good cheese is so expensive. It isn’t really an opiate though. Similar isn’t it? I mean unless they’re feeding cows something I wasn’t aware of. That might explain alot though about the way cows act. Seriously I could imagine junkies lounging around in a pen chewing on plants all day.
