Hey guys!

I just wanted to post and say hello to everyone! I’m a new member/snuffer. I started snuffing about 2 months ago. I was in a local tobacco store, and saw a few old tins that I thought would look neat in my 30’s style apartment. They ended up being Lorillards, Society, Top’s mild scotch, DeVoe’s, and WE garrets. I didn’t even know what they were until I researched them and landed here! After trying a few I became hooked, and went back to buy more and more brands. I think you all know where I am headed! Ny current favorites are F&T HDT, Brutons, and Lorillards. Besides snuffing I smoke MYO(make your own) Cigarettes, D&R tobacco FTW! Perique is my favorite, and if anyone else on here blends their own. Take 4 parts D&R SJ Rimboche, 2 parts Windsail plat, 1 part two timer, 1 part GR rimboche, and a pinch each of McClellands and McConnel blending perique all wrapped in a gizeh Charcoal filter tube. This is my daily smoke. I also smoke cigars, Camacho Corojo and Aroma de Cuba are my current fav. I smoke pipes, mainly english blends with added perique. I sometimes venture into the snus world as well, general Los being my favorite. Im 19 years old, maybe even the youngest on here! i live in Terre Haute IN, and I’'m going to college at Indiana State university for Mechanical Engineering Technology. Any tips/pointers are always welcome. Have a good one!

Welcome to the community! My name is Ken, and I have been a member here for over a year. Any information you could possibly want about snuff is now right at your fingertips. Glad to see people are still joining the forum. ~Ken

welcome - I too was a fan of D&R Tobacco - still have the remnants of my last bag of two timer here, quit smoking with snuff. This place is a great resource for info, with some nice knowledgeable folks.

Welcome Caleb, you seem to already have built up quite a knowledge of tobacco and snuffing. FandT is a great English snuff, as well as those classic US snuffs, good choices! As you seem to be enjoying it without any problems I think the best advice is build up your snuff collection and experience of the many different types out there. My personal tip: try the other great brands for example Wilsons of Sharrow, started in the 1700’s and Toque - which has only been around a couple of years - both are superb and offer the great blends of snuff’s heydey as well as more modern flavours. And of course there are many more out there, all with their own fan’s and detractors. Enjoy and if you have a question, just ask…

Welcome mrmaroon! Lorillard’s snuff is a gem! If you started out with US Scotches, then it’s all downhill from here!

Hello and welcome, mrmaroon! I love the idea of your '30s style apartment, but then I love anything retro. Which is why I’m such a fan of snuff - an ancient tradition and all that! Happy Snuffing!

Welcome mrmaroon. My flat is decorated in “Early Hippie”. Basically bits and pieces of Indian, Chinese and Native American stuff. I’ve got the bedroom festooned with vintage and recent black light posters. The kitchen is somewhat English, due to all the stuff dedicated to one of my other habits/obsessions. Tea.

Welcome! Its always nice to meet another youngster who enjoys fine tobaccos and has a good taste in decor. I’m 22 myself. This is an excellent resource for snuffers. Enjoy!

I’m 18! beat you age wise :stuck_out_tongue: It’s good to know I’m not the only snuffer this young. You made a good decision joining this forum, they’re a bloody helpful bunch.

Welcome! I am into Snuff, Snus, Cigars, Pipes and now I have been vaping e-cigars. All are fun so enjoy! In Snuff, I am a Toque Coke addict but I buy and try everything. As you will see on my trading threads! In Snus, I like Gote Rape, Gott Yellow, “Island made”, Toboca and others both in portions or los with my Icetool. In cigars, I like most of the good stuff from all “locations” but I don’t like the sun grown super strong ones that knocks me on my A… In pipes I like heavy Latikia blends and Perique blends too. No cased flavors at all. Now that I have bored you all, I have been this past week Vaping Greentech Disposable E-cigars. Nice experience and at around $20 for 1,500-1,800 puffs it is cost effective too!

How do those things taste, BB.

Welcome to the snuffhouse family mrmaroon. glad to have you here.

Tip: grind your perique up for snuff.

Welcome mrmaroon i am sure you will like this awesome forum.

@cstokes Better then I thought! I am been using my pipe and cigars less and less. More vaping, snusing and snuffing. Try an e-cigar at Nhaler.com. PM me if you want any info.

@juxtaposer - your not pulling some new guy prank on me are ya? If you aren’t, I didn’t even know you could grind up a pipe tobacco like that. I’ll have to try it! Perique FTW

Well…the moisturizers in most pipe tobaccos do cause a little annoying cloying. The way I see it, any good tobacco can be ground and snuffed. If it doesn’t feel good in the nose you can always sprinkle it in your bowl and burn it.
