I found this stuff called “Red Herbal Snuff from Thailand” on amazon.com being sold by MrSnuff. I also found it being sold by a company in Thailand through amazon.com for the same price as MrSnuff but with free shipping. It was very inexpensive and claims that it “calms the nerves and soothes the soul”. I just got it in today from Thailand and tried it and the smell is different, kind of like candy or something, and it has an energizing effect for me. Look for it on amazon or MrSnuff I think some of you may like it. By the way it is Tobacco free.
the purple is great also, still need to try the yellow
I am going to try and order the purple and yellow from MrSnuff if they have it. I know they have the Red that I bought.
So whats in it to be energising?
I think it has Guarana in it which is like 10% caffeine. I’m not sure on the percentage of caffeine in Guarana but I know Guarana does have caffeine.
So I looked up the Red Herbal Snuff from Thailand on Mr. Snuff and it has the same exact description as on amazon.com, that it is a formula from 1898 call Yanattus, but also has another small paragraph describing it as having “high-quality fermented tobacco”. Interesting. However, the Yellow Herbal Snuff description says it is the latest in their line of herbal snuffs and that none of the herbal snuffs contain any tobacco. Anyone know for sure whats in them?
I don’t know whats in these snuffs, but I am guessing that they have to say the snuff is tobacco free so they can sell it on Amazon or Ebay. I just ordered the purple thai on eBay and I hope it HAS tobacco. I think the herbal snuffs are useless and boring after my experience w/ Tiger and Braniff “guarana” snuff like powders. They might look cool being white and drug like, but they don’t do a damn thing for me. I did like the Dholakia herbal, it has some Indian type scents as well as cooling menthol, but thats the only one. I read some interesting things about the Thai purple, including that it for sure, has tobacco, as well as other oriental spices. It was very expensive however, 19.00 for 13 gr, but free delivery.
@mrmanos do you live in the US? I got the red on amazon for $5.99 w/free shipping. the purple was the same price and the yellow was only $7.99. I just now looked on amazon and the purple is only about $13.00 total with shipping.
Wow!, I bought it on eBay from mr snuff. Its tremendously overpriced, but the shipping is free. But how much could it possibly cost to ship a tiny, 13 gram bottle inside a bubble envelope? Thanks for the headsup. I just got it there because I had extra money in my paypal, and Amazon doesn’t take it. Next time, if I like it, I’ll go to Amazon, thanks.

Posting this so all the members will know, I read somewhere online, might have been wikipedia, that the herbal concoction in the Thai Herbal Snuff (Red) is used for colds and coughs and most importantly imo to alleviate and prevent nasal sores and irritation. so it might be useful to have around after all.
There’s a few recipes for herbal remedies which are for snuffing.might be cheaper to make your own.just google it.

Considering my recent interest in non-tobacco snuffs I will have to give this one a go.
@peter77 I think you’ll like it. Some say it smells like fruit, it definitely has a unique smell and it gives a nice relaxing feeling and I use it right before bed, seems to help me sleep.
@md363 Nice. Guess this one would prove to be an excellent Night cap snuff. Because typically I go menthol and Snus for a Night Cap, but this certainly sounds like an excellent way to switch things up.
