Heman Menthol Haters Club

As @Dunnyveg said in any review Menthol or Non-Menthol is more important to me than Color Grind or moisture , Even the Samuel Gawith Fruit with menthol is a lot for me . And as @Theratroom said blocks up my nose for awile .I like the fact that Toque makes some of there flavors with or without menthol giving the buyer a choice , How much harder is it to make a snuff without menthol ?

Well it is sad that I too cannot take any menthol, unless I want to be stuffed up for a week, it is sad because I really like it otherwise.

The entire line of SD is awesome. The cherry with the menthol is one of my favorites. I’m not sure how much more menthol is in the Toque version, but the SD version is so light you barely notice it, but it just opens you right up. I never noticed the original had menthol until I tried other snuffs. SD was the first i ever had, so I just didn’t know any better  I’m kicking myself for not buying more mentholated snuffs when I did my big toque order. I always find myself going back to the menthols and letting the others just kind of sit. Even my Grunt doesn’t get as much abuse as my Medic does. My Ice Cool addiction is terrifying.

SD Original is one of the few menthols I can take.

I have no problem with using Menthol’s, I just prefer non menthol .Hate is a strong emotion, I don’t hate it is not positive thinking!

I don’t hate menthol snuff, I just have a sensitive nose and large amounts of menthol cause actual pain. I have found a few, very few, that I can use. 6 Photo Super Kailash, Wilson’s SM series, The Silver Dollar snuffs are usable. I have hopes for the rumored Toque Camphor and Menthol…

I like the ones that are so strong that they make me slap my desk after I take them. The kind you wouldn’t dare take while driving.

the toque cherry menthol is far from over the top. And I almost forgot to ad very good too.

I agree @Whalen… Love the immediate effects of menthol but then not long afterwards… NO JOY! What a bummer!

Ive had a love/hate relationship with menthol and i can still say I’m definitely not a menthol for menthol’s sake kind of guy. The most mentholated snuff I can use without mixing in non menthol snuff is dr rumneys and it has eucalyptus as well. Since both have a cooling effect I’m not sure which is more present, but I notice a scent distinct from menthol in the mix. I’ve found that as mixers, menthol snuffs can work wonders and a little goes a long way, but if I use any mentholated snuff mixed or otherwise exclusively for even an hour or two, my nose does get blocked. Plus once a mentholated snuff is in a box or tin, whatever else you put in there will have residual menthol, at least for a while.

I persnally really like menthol snuffs two times a day: in the morning and at night when I am going to bed. The whole day long I enjoy non-mentholated snuffs.

I haven’t been a big menthol fan to date for one main reason. When i have them it makes my nose run like mad. Gawith Apricot being the only slight exception (milder but still some run). My big discovery recently, that really changed my mind on Menthol was getting 200g 6 photo Medicated 66 ordering pot luck. At first when i opened the package i though, oh great…menthol, well at least it was cheap… How wrong i was. This stuff is the finest menthol snuff i have ever tried. My nose still runs like mad when i take it, but damn, its so good i dont care!

I’m still tying to figure out what He-Man has to do with menthol snuff…

I thought I was a menthol hater, but 6 Photo Medicated No. 66 and GH CM changed my mind. I do think I prefer my menthol to be paired with camphor, but menthol has a place in my cellar now.

I’m guessing its a based on The Little Rascals “Heman Woman Haters Club”

And menthol is my Darla .

I like menthol…in very small quantities as it will totally stuff me up. I have found that mixing a small amount with non mentholated snuff works well. I currently am very much enjoying a mix of 6 Photo Natural and Cheeta mixed about 50/50 with a small amount of Super Kailash in the mix for a bit of menthol. The Natural picks up a great nic kick from the Cheeta as well as the lovely Cheeta scent and the bit of Super Kailash just seems to make it all work. A great side benefit is that the Natural creates a great carrier for the Cheeta making it much easier to take.
