Since the laws in the EU are changing etc… pfalzer Donnersberg, anything comparable or equal to it? I absolutely love this one. And haven’t been able to stock up since everyone seems to be out of stock. So any recommendations?

Nothing else in current production really hits those Badischer Geudertheimer tobacco notes, I would think. The closest would probably be Rosinski Goldapper (but it lacks the honey notes that Donnersberg has). However, that does you no good whatsoever as he will be shutting down too for the same reason.
As far as I know, there is nothing else even close in the current British snuffs, and nothing made by Pöschl either that is similar. The best option, probably, would be to learn to make your own from similar dark air cured leaf with honey (mead) topping. I’m sure @volunge would be happy to point you in the right direction as far as trying that route goes.

As far as I understand, it’s not too sophisticated - dark air cured leaf, sauced with some cream of tartar and thinned honey and force-fermented in warmer than room temperature. However, getting hold of BG leaf might be challenging, and other dark varieties like air/sun cured Kentucky would give rather different result.
I would advise stocking up on Donnersberg once it’s back in stock, @Doser. Just keep your eye on it there, I’m pretty sure Roderick will re-stock. Also, worth reaching out to R and asking to order plenty for your personal needs, or reserving a fair amount for you, maybe even offfering pre-payment, if you find simply letting this snuff go too hurtful.
Duwak Dulcis has very similar (if not the same) base, if you don’t mind almond note.

Hope it works out alright for you! It’s never fun when a favorite is discontinued, but the whole thing is especially sad in the context the impending apocalyptic decimation of German artisan snuffs.
On the PLS Duwak Dulcis, which I’m sure you have had, it’s not quite the same but certainly similar/close as @volunge notes. I will be squirreling away a few tins of both (and a few other PLS blends) myself, assuming I can get my hands on some more before they disappear.
