I have had a grassleaf bullet for a few days and have found it very practical but today when i refilled it the screw would not seat properly it protudes from the bottom, i have only used my thumbnail to screw and unscrew so doubt it is damaged. There are two rubber gromits on the base of the screw can’t remember if they were there before or not and i was hoping someboby in the know would be able to advise me on how to get this working properly again as i dont want to damage it by forcing anything. Most likely when filling the bullet some snuff got in the hole where the screw is supposed to go in. The best way to avoid that is opening the bullet and to remove the screw from the bottom plate and put it back in it’s hole, that way no snuff can get in there when filling.
yep thats exactly what happened, will remember to put the screw in when filling up, just starting out with snuff thanks for the reply
I’ve tried a few bullets but they all seem to either not deliver enough or are very tempromental and give irregular doses. I think the problem is that they are all made for using coke not snuff, so I wish some manufacturer would get their asses in gear and make a worthwhile product.
Actually, I’ve fed many a load thru my plastic bullet. Granted, I haven’t climbed Everest with it or gone on any Amazon treks, but it still comes in very useful and indispensable Maybe I just got a good one but mine works fine.
snuffster now that i am using the metal grassleaf bullet properly i have to say it is great especially when i’m out walking the dogs i have had problems with plastic bullets and no longer buy snuff in bullets but the grassleaf bullet is a great addition to any snuff toolkit. For example i love latakia Ao 1860 but hate the drip if you angle the bullet properly it avoids this problem something i have trouble with when pinching so it does have its uses and is a very well made piece of kit.

Doing the family thing right with the xmas dinner. Grass leaf bullet been very handy in “non-obvious” pinches. Great little bullet!
