Does any one know what they mean by that snuff help with cold in the head , i saw that on hoogle, by i still afraid to use snuff again because of my previous use i catched a flu that i still recovering from it

A nice medicated snuff can help clear the sinuses (or plug them up, if overdone). Hedges L260 is my favorite medicated snuff, FWIW. As long as I’ve got the ability to get some into my nose, I’ve used snuff right through nasty head colds. I rather doubt that the use of snuff caused your bout of influenza.

I’ve been battling a cold for the past 2 days and sniffing small pinches of WoS Dynamite throughout the day has certainly helped clear some of the congestion.

Get a nice strong medicated snuff to “clear” you out, when im bunged up i use MED n99 or JIP! but all in moderation like medcompco said too much will just bung you up more!

When I have a cold my favs are Medicated No.99, 6 Photo No.66 and Poschl Gletcherprise. I find they make my sinuses feel better, its like holding a Vics Vapostick under your nose all day.

I dearly love the aroma and nearly instantaneous clearing of my nares and sinuses that is practically magical. Especially in early morning or when it’s cold out. Unfortunately, I am also one of those folks who tends to have a rebound reaction resulting in even more congestion within a short time. BUMMER. Not everyone has this happen. If you are one of these then I am jealous.

I always like taking a decent medicated snuff, as others have said it is great for the morning, L260 is my go too or Jip! If I have a really bad cold I’ll go onto whatever Indian white I can find in my collection.

It finally hit me. This is a good thread.
I’m using Sturco and Poschl Red Bull to keep my head “clear.”
