I think it is high time I expressed my feelings about certain individuals, who, without their efforts we would all be sniffing nothing but American Scotch snuff. Not that there’s anything wrong with that (two large spoonfuls of Tube Rose for emphasis). Where would we be, in no particular order, without these wonderful people: Sir Johnny Nigel Roderick Jaap Dave, Patrick and dear sweet Andrea My sincere thank you for all you do for all of us.
@ chefdaniel: Much obliged. Jaap Bes.
Thanks Daniel.
I know @Roderick from Toque Fame, for us new snuffers other than seeing all the wonderful posts can I put snuffs to names? @Abraxas is a bit of an easy one I think
@Derek_007 So many wonderful snuff creations, so little time. If I could do so concisely I would list the multitude of snuff masterpieces created by these artisans and delivered economically and quickly by the snuff gang at Mr. Snuff. Hell, even Cheese and Bacon has an honored place at my table. Breakfast of Champions. I’m still waiting for Toque Gentleman’s Relish. In the interim I put Thai fish sauce on some crushed up Copenhagen. I say we should all chime in with our favorites, if the moderators don’t mind a thread that will take up bandwidth like I take up HDT. Cheers
True, but what are the company’s behind the names, I know Roderick, and I take it Abraxas is “Abraxas”
Sir Johnny = Sir Walter Scott Nigel = Abraxas Roderick = Toque Jaap = Molens Dave = Mr.Snuff
What @n9inchnails said. Sorry about that senior moment Derek_007
Thanks, good to put a name to the people behind these, honoured and lucky to have a public forum with that level of input …
Much thanks to all! I would still be on the cigarettes if it weren’t for you wonderful people.
I’d like to extend the thanks to ALL members here. The snuff producers and distributers would be out of business if no one was buying, and I wouldn’t know about many of them if it wasn’t for the members of this forum. I have now found favourites in SG, GH, WoS, F&T and Toque with the occasional pinch from elsewhere. Whilst my exploration is far from complete, and I could comfortably stick with the favourites I already have, the continued input from snuffers on here keeps me trying offerings from other mills/countries. As such I like to have a bit of Anarkali, Latakia AO1860, FOJ, Babaton Blue and a few others tucked away for an occasional break from the norm, and am planning to meet up with Indiansnuff from the forum for a couple of beers very soon. I wish you all the best and hope you keep making, distributing, and snuffing for many many years
Ha ha ha! That’s a blast from the past Rodders
