Headaches and snuff

I find as I snuff more and smoke fewer cigarettes I get fewer headaches. I have a chronic headache problem, but I do get fewer as I shift more towards snuff. I wonder if any of you have noticed a similar trend.

I feel less sick in general and my throat doesn’t get sore. Cigarettes have poisons in them essentially so can contribute to a myriad of problems short and long term.

I forgot to mention my sore throat problem as well, that’s also getting better for me too. I don’t know if it’s been happening directly from the cigs, or if the cigs contribute to snoring etc. But it can be tough to give up those last few cigs, and a bit of dokha here and there. At least I stick to natural tobacco cigs. Congrats to all who’ve quit! I may be one of you in a while!

While I don’t smoke cigarettes, I find if I get a headache that Tylenol won’t get rid of (about 95% of them), I’ve been finding that snuff seems to help either get rid of it or keep it from getting to intense. And I’ve even noticed that I haven’t gotten headaches as frequently since I’ve started snuffing.

I find that snuff can clear a tension type headache more or less instantly and helps with any other sort as well.

Do you find that certain snuffs seem to work better than others for shifting headaches? I remember ages ago someone on this forum (might have been you Snuffster?) said Hedges L260 was particularly effective. I know Hedges was originally invented by a chemist, intended to be used as a remedy for certain ailments.

I find Hedges the best thing for a headache, better than any pain killer.

I’ll have to give the hedges a try next time I have a headache. So far I find Crumbs of Comfort usually helps my head.

Didn’t Nicot or Catherine de Medici use snuff for headaches?

I have Tinninitus(sp I think) and used to have to take an opioid (tramadol) for my terrible headaches and ever since I started using snuff I haven’t had to take it.  So yeah… I agree with @Walrus1985 !

Thank’s for all the feedback people! Some great food for thought!
