My allergies are kicking my butt this spring. Anytime I want to use snuff I’m am so congested I can barely breath thru my nose. Shoot the Indian snuff won’t even break the congestion. I am useing Calitin D and that’s not even helping much this year. Guess I will have to start back up with the dip cause I can’t find snus around KCMO and can’t justify spending what Snus.com wants for shipping. edn
have you tried WOS SM Blue. If you can get a little up your nose I think it will help open you up.

If I don’t use Hedges within about 10 minutes of waking up, allergies will kill me all day long. I used to have to take a Zyrtec every morning for years before snuffing and hedges in the am.
I have found snuff to have just the opposite effect. First year my seasonal allergies haven’t been kicking my butt and I believe snuff has helped block the irritants in my sinuses.
I think the last thing you should do with congestion is to put snuff on top of it. True, some people find menthol useful but at the end of the day, however much we love it, snuff is not an allergy medication. When I get congestion from hay fever I stop snuffing and use a steroid nasal spray for a few days. If I go insane from nic withdrawal I just have a few cigarettes. But I’m fortunate that I can stop smoking with no real effort afterwards.
I take a nasal spray every morning and night as prescribed by my doctor, and that deals with my hayfever. My symptons get really bad if I don’t take it, but as long as I do I have no problems and can snuff as normal.
Well using Camel snus today, I know it’s not real snus, but I haven’t dipped inso long my lower lip is healed and don’t want to start that up again.
I use nasonex nose spray and it keeps me from having allergies all year long. My allergies are normally really bad too. I recommend nose spray over pills.

Agreed. Damn those nasal sprays… I have some dristan still, I haven’t used it in a long while now… Thank God 
Not the steroid ones, that’s a very small dose, it’s the decongestant ones that mess you up. Things like flixanase can be taken safely for very long periods.
Well I found one that doesn’t compound my allergy syptems, Berwick brown Toque. love it. Maybe it is the courcer grind? edm
