Hi I’ve tried most snuffs now and believe I have decided on my essential must have snuffs. I’m using up all my tins but I’ve got a year’s worth left at least. Still here are the snuffs I intend never to run out of: O&G - this is now inc’d in every rotation. Bruton Cheese & Bacon - such a masterpiece! Whisky & Honey - another masterpiece Camphor & Mild Natural Toast / HDT / IHT22 - love these equally L260 - I’m a big menthol fan Rooster Toque Cherry Menthol I like SPs and most fruity snuffs, but could live without them if I always had the above in stock. I know there’s a similar thread but limiting to 5 essential was too constraining for me. What’s on your essential list? List as many or as few as you wish.

Well seeing as how I only own 6 different snuffs, I’m only certain of three that I will be purchasing again in the future and they are WoS Prime Minister Molens Hollandse Bolongaro Toque Violet

No ,I have not tried all that is available.I found no snuff is created equal.I know what I like and carry four snuff boxes at all time.I mix my favorites and so I can’t nail them down. As essentials; some come to mind poschl schmalzler, taxi red, molens latakia,These I must have the rest are desert and or purpose snuffs like Dr.Rumneys and red bull when I need a good clearing or molens metholate so cool and chocolate.They say variety is the spice of life and take time to smell the flowers I don’t know who they are,But I am sure happy with the horde of backy I sampled so far.I will have to start a list with snuff samplers with similar tastes as mine

I have very simple tastes. I do like something luxurious now and again but really I just use Quit all day long nowadays. I will make up a 1/2 pound jar of Quit and put an oz. or two of Rose or an Indian snuff in there. When I’ve used that I will make up another with a different tang to it. Aside from that I will have occasional blasts of HDT or Dholakia White or some Fubar (which I cringe to remember I slated when it came out). I love our domestic brands but some of the Dholakia types are, IMHO, examples of perfect snuffs.

Im pretty much still new but i have established a few essential. Toque Coke Toque Spanish Gem Toque W&H McChystals O&G Bernards Klostermischung (To be honest here, its essentially my before bath snuff. I take a big load… feel I’m in heaven and fantasize abt random stuff. 5 mins later, My nose will start running like a tap and i clear my nose squeaky clean from the inside out. haha)

WoS Best SP. If all other snuffs were banned, I wouldn’t cry.

I have found that my nose agrees more with fine grinds for long term use. I found that Dholakia is great for that, with White being my main go to snuff and one of their florals (Kamal or Ganga) to mix things up a bit. I could use just those 2 exclusively if I had to, but luckily I don’t and can enjoy much more.

O&G. I occasionally venture out of my Menthol Kingdom, but I always return.

I’ve basically always had Gletscherprise on hand since I started…it was my first, and I still get in the mood for a two day-long binge. Dholakia sparrow and Toque W&H, for the same reason I keep GP. Any SP is my workhorse. I have over a half-pound of Tom Buck, and it does the trick. I guess I don’t have essential snuffs. I rotate, and use whatever I put into whatever snuff box I feel like carrying and use it until its gone, or I’m tired of it. Every couple of days I force myself to finish-off what’s in my boxes, which I don’t like doing, but I hate wasting snuff even more.

Tom Buck is an essential for me as well, especially with its nose clearing properties. Although I like more coplex snuffs like Royal George and Spanish Gem once in a while, simple flavors like Gawth Aprocot and SPs are my staples. I wouldn’t want to go without Gold label, especially because its perfect for a quick nic fix between classes, but if I had grand cairo i could do without it. I eagerly await the bundle of 6 photos I ordered and the scotches as I am eager to try those too. I’m sure I’ll add some of the toques I ordered to my essentials. I supppose for a complex I’d have to keep the Royal George too. SO if I were limited to 5 it would be WoS’ Tom Buck, Royal George, Chocolate Orange, Poschi Gawith Apricot for menthol and my Thai Herbal before bed. But hair stands on the back of my neck at the thought of being so limited

Quit and Rooster are my essentials. I dabble in small quantities of different ones, but a blend of these two is just what I want most of the time. Just ordered a little of the Molens Gingerbread though, and like the sound of it.

Easy! Toque rustica, ginger, camphor&clove, 41P WE and Viking Dark… but there’s a million other snuffs for me to try.

I love the diversity of this place. Internet forums are often dominated by “group think”, and everyone all seem to like and hate the same stuff. Not here. Good job there’s such an amazing range of snuffs to cover all our tastes

As it’s relatively easy to store American scotches more or less indefinitely from what I’ve gathered in my brief time on this forum, I’m glad both that I enjoy them and that I already have a good supply on hand. With these and the Indians I have either on hand or in route, I think I may have enough snuff for the rest of my life… but I’d cry over the loss of my schmalzlers. At an absolute bare minimum, I need: 6P Super Kailash 6P Anarkali Swisher Buttercup/Honeybee Poschl Alpina Wilson’s Super Menthol … but I’d absolutely hate for it to come down to that.

I would have to say my essentials would be… Toque Raspberry Toque Quit Gawith Apricot from Poschl Garrett Scotch Maybe I will throw in some Gletscher Prise… Which reminds me I need to get more. Ran out a few days ago. It is really cool to see how different everyone’s tastes are. Makes me want to try more for sure

Viking Dark, Wilson’s IHT#22, Toque USA Whiskey & Honey, McChrystal’s O&G. I have all of these in bulk with the exception of O&G and I plan to buy a tub of it soon. In addition to these I’ll keep SG Black Coffee, Vanilla, SP Scotch, a white Indian snuff, and a scented Indian snuff on hand in smaller quantities. Also, I need to get more Toque St. Clement’s and Spanish Gem soon. I’m perfectly content with all of these, it’s taken a few years to whittle it down to this list.

Classes of snuff only. My favourites keep changing within those classes. A scotch, a toast, a medicated, and an SP. Maybe: WE Garrett regular, HDT, Gold Label, and Hedges.But i would exchange any one of those for its equivalent that i also fancy.
