Have they changed the recipe for FUBAR Medic?

I’ve got through a few tubs of this now and I love it both as a blending snuff and a straight one. One of the things I liked was the subtleness of the menthol combined with the gorgeous rich slightly spicy base tobacco flavour. I’ve just opened the latest pot I got before Xmas from Snuffstore and it’s different. The base seems less rich and spicy and the menthol is more pronounced, more akin (though nowhere near as full-on) as Hedges. Anyone else noticed this? Also, does anyone know who could answer the question, am I right that it’s make by Dholakia?

Yes FUBAR is a contract brand for Mr Snuff ,Made by Dholakia. I have not noticed the changes, but this happens often with Fubar. I think it’s not revered as an exact science for who is blending to blame. Dholakia Menthol is subtle like the old Medic. Although that could had changed too

I hope it isn’t permanent, I love love love the old blend. I might contact snuffstore and see if they have any of the older stuff.

I’ve got FUBAR Fugazi, Doolali Tap and Willie Pete (the last two Chrsitmas presents from my brother, who either knows nothing about snuff or secretly hates me) and based on these I never thought I’d see the word ‘subtle’ used in connection with any of their snuffs… :))

@HR_pufnsnuff Willie Pete is challenging; But make a great mixer to bump up the vitamin N. Doolali Tap is perfect while Ice fishing. Black Joe mixes well with SG black rappee

Hmmm - got some London Brown (which to my surprise doesn’t seem to be exactly the same as Black Rappee is spite of what Bob Gregory told me)… I like the odd pinch of Fugazi, though it took me a while to get used to it. Same with Willie Pete, though it’s only ever going to be a very occasional treat, as it’s scent rather than nic I go for. Doolali Tap is lovely initially, but just when I think I’ve got used to it the sneezes begin.

Try Fubar Medic, you’ll be surprised.
