I’ve just been alternating between SD Cherry and Toque Cherry Menthol and wondered if we should up the Menthol on Cherry Menthol?
I think the menthol level in Cherry Menthol is just fine as it is. If you’re going to change anything about it, increase the cherry flavoring.
Hmm. This is one of my summer-time chill snuffs. I find this to be a tough question. In some regards, its fine the way it is. However, there have been times when I wish it had more flavor and or menthol. Part of the appeal for me is the subtle flavor that doesn’t over stay it’s welcome and lets me get down to the base tobacco in the end. But I am a fan of Wilson’s Cherry Menthol and it’s nose punching andrenaline release of a menthol after burner. I’m intrigued. Send me mass samples to experiment with
No complaints from me. I think the menthol in Toque Cherry Menthol is spot on.
More selection is best. Sometimes I want a lot of menthol and some fruit other times reverse that and lots of fruit some menthol. Which is why I say leave it as is. Since there are other snuffs that cover the ground of lots of menthol some fruit.
Never go more, always less with menthol, imho. I think menthol is a great seasoning for snuff but so many are just like using a Vicks inhaler stick. I have always thought that Toque gets the menthol spot on. I would really love to see a ‘wit and wisdom’ type of snuff from Toque. A very, very lightly mentholated toast and then maybe a range of them - the thought of a Toque vanilla toast with just a dab of menthol makes me go weak at the knees!
Sometimes I do an incursion on the menthol time to time, like for a brother of it,the clove.Ilike particulary nuances in the effect, clums of cumfort to aniseed extra,to Hedges…So on.I will take in few time this product.I stay confiant on the dosage.I will say to you my conclusions .
@snuffster You can make ‘Wit and Wisdom’-type medicated toast by just filling an almost empty small tin of medicated snuff with toast. I’ve got good results with WoS SM and #22. Just the snuff left in bottom and grooves is enough to flavour toast.
I’ve kept a full tin of the two Wit & Wisdom’s that were found a couple years ago by one of our members who since disappeared. The toast is coarser than any of the Wilson’s toasts. Really its more like one of their standard grinds, or like SG’s Blue Crest. The flavor is more like Wilson’s 21 than 22. - That’s the Irish Toast, not the Irish High Toast. Of course the tin I consumed must have been 20 years old or older. There was nothng but a ghost of menthol to it, and I can’t say what the toast flavor should have been like were it fresh.
I like Cherry Menthol as it is.
