The names are awful, but they have some interesting flavours. Has anyone gotten their hands on these? The way they are packaged lends me to the thought that they are produced by Dholakia. Plus, their flavours sound extremely similar to Dholakia’s list of new snuffs. Ah, when I click on a particular flavour the next page that comes up has Dholakia in front of the name of the snuff. At any rate, why would they come out with three different brands for their new flavours? Perhaps Mr. Snuff can shed some light on this? ~Snuffy
check out the dholakia website. They claim each one is in a catagory or type. Like temptation is the dessert snuffs.
Gentlemen/Ladies. Yes, they are the new Dholakia’s. I have them listed on the site as Dholakia American.
And yes, the few I’ve tried so far are excellent.
Tim sent me a sample of Roasted Nuts and its very good!
I have an Apple Pie sample. Wrote my thoughts in Namrata’s column on here a few weeks ago. Its good. I have a few more on order. Looking forward to them.
I guess it’s a cool idea to separate them like that. Definitly a new idea. ~Snuffy
I’ve tried a few so far, none that I would buy. I didn’t know about the Coffee Bite, might have to try that one out.
I really want to try the Maple and Brandy. I’m not sure if I like the new flashy packaging or not. Next time I order from Tom’s store, I’ll get a few of them to try.
@Snuffy, I was actually looking at Snuffhouse with gritted teeth for the last 2 weeks because of this “new line,” it’s like a nice rabbit punch to my ribs seeing this new topic. but good. You’re the snuffer with the life. Not having anxiously anticipated this “new arrival.” Anyway. I think the less exotic the name is i.e. Salem ultra spanking cool minTy! Vs. Dholakia the more it might catch some of the prospective market. “yeah, you Blast? nah, I Wow.”
The more odd flavors I try, even though they are usually good, I find myself preferring the old stand bys, like basic menthol, and sweet fruity menthol, and a few non flavored non menthols I have tried(best to me so far is Rockit’s Naked). So, I’d try them all, but it’d have to really wow me to get again. I am still a relative newby, and I haven’t tried a lot, but then I think I have tried quite a few various snuffs, and only maybe 5 or so I’d get again. Tom502
I’ve tried the Whisky with Honey, Coconut Toffee and Coffee Cream varieties and they’re pretty tasty. Will probably make an order of another couple of flavours from Nicotine Rush soon.
not me the more crazy flavours I try the more crazy flavours I have an opinion about. Some I love some I think is not so loveable. The classics however are classic for a reason I assume.
I just ordered a bunch of them. I suspect they will all be good, I generally like Dholakia made snuffs, and they may be my fave snuff company after Poschl. Can’t remember all I ordered, Rum, Cola, Champagne, Orange Choco, Coffee Bite… I’ll post a rundown when they arrive. Tom502
@bob: No kidding about the classics, I’m a fool for the Fribourg & Treyer HDT now. I did get a sample; generous portion by the way, of Lime and Lemony. It’s like the packager at Nicotine Rush had a sense about these things, I loved it. Some days it’s Sprite, some days it’s salty, but good all around.
hdt is in my nose all the time great snuff.
Mango Cream is essentially Asian. Western palates might not necessarily discern the flavorings. although maybe you’re adventurous. It reminds me a lot of the Dried Mango that’s available widely in Asian groceries and Coffee Mate. Warm at the top and then an acidic bite later. I enjoy it. I think I owe this review of Grape Concourde to Snuffhouse considering how much I’ve asked for grape… yeah grape… metallic purple tin grape… Ok, so it didn’t come in a metallic tin. But this grape was exactly what i was looking for. Not the conossieur grape that might be turned into a vintage wine but grape like Welch’s. It’s actually quite complex since it’s candy and air freshener all in different stages.
I was looking at the Dholakia site, of the new Wow! type snuffs, and they say smash cans, and tubs, yet the picture is of these cool tap-out cans. What’s with that? I’d prefer a tap-out can. Also they need to change that music, and put a raga on instead. Tom502
I hate tap out cans.
soon DHOLAKIA will be available in tin containers with screw lid,tap out containers…in vey nnovative shape and also all regular containers will be available.our distributor can select any containers …we will supply…as per his order…i am sure …no one will have any more complain with our containers…
