What do you think would it make a good snuff?

Absolutely! I Have some and it is fantastic. do not hesitate. Highly recommended.

I would say it would be best mixed in small doses with another tobacco. By itself, the perique was too sharp for me to smoke, let alone snuff.

How would you go along to grind ANS Perique Blend because I have been interested in making my own snuff’s to save money and or have a whole new snuffing experience.

How much snuff would you get out of a pack of Perique blend you suppose?

My plan is to get a coffee grinder and grind it up into a fine powder and place this powder in a jar. Then cover the opening of the jar with pantyhose and sift the snuff. save what comes out regrind or discard what stays.

@Juxtaposer would a RYO bag/tin of Perique blend be better for making mass batches of ANS Perique Snuff?

@digitalsedition It would be safe to say that from a 40g bag of Spirit you could get 40g of snuff, @DaveK313 Better than what? @rdunnion It can be as simple as that. You won’t be disappointed.

I have seen bits and pieces of people rehydrating with water, oil, and I have some vegetable glycerin that might work. What would be the wise method to hydrate the snuff once ground?

Yes in fact you’ll find it much better after hydrating. Watch out for mold. I would recommend only hydrating what you plan to use and leaving the bulk dry. Distilled water sprayed on or an indirect humidor hydration depending on your patience. I would try the glycerin to see what it’s like too.
