Some sort of chewing tobacco from Germany? Has anyone had it? What’s it like?
please someone tell us! Damn it I’ve been curious about this stuff well since I saw it online.
you can buy it from here http://www.mysmokingshop.co.uk/index2.php?mod=mancats&man=307&sec=1035
they don’t ship to the u.s.
i had it. its a little like bigger oliver twists, with some very strong tobacco taste. not bad.
who makes it? Let me know, with contact info if possible, and if I can I will stock it. Dave
Top Cigars carries them.
Very tasty stuff and a bit on the stronger side.
mr. snuff, you should just go full monty. and by full monty i mean, snuff, quality european chewing tobacco and pipe tobacco. i mean, here were are, going to you and tom for snuff, somewhere else for chew, and yet another place for pipe tobacco. it makes sense to wrap it all up in one, you know what i mean?
Saucy Jack is right. Samuel Gawith pipe tobacco is out of stock in the US most of the time and if you were selling it from the UK where you can get a reliable supply you could sell tons of Squadron Leader and Skiff Mixture. How about Dunhill? Hasn’t been available in the US for years. One thing you are wrong about is European chew… No such thing. Chewing tobacco is illegal in Europe. Some of the ropes and twist pipe tobacco are used as chew, and snus, though it can’t be sold in B&Ms can be ordered on line.
I don’t think chewing tobacco is illegal in the E.U. It’s just snus isn’t it ?
Yeah, far as I’m aware, loose leaf, plug and twist chew are legal to sell as it was given an exemption for having historically high use in certain areas. Snus and dip cannot be sold in B&M’s however. Oliver Twist is certainly sold in B&M stores in Europe, and it is obviously chew.
Well, I’ve seen twist but not loose leaf chew. I guess if they have twists it is legal.
Well, sorry, by chew I meant the oliver twists, rope tobacco, and grimm and triepel bars.
