Today I visited a tobacconist that I had not visited before. I went becuase General Snus’ website said they carried snus (they did!). However, the first thing I noticed when going into the shop was what I thought was a package of Gletsherprise of a design that I had never seen before. To my suprise, when I picked it up, the packet was soft. It was not long before I realized what it was - a packet of white disposable tissues! I suppose that’s snuff appropriate, but when queried the clerk said they sold no snuff there, and had no idea what the thing in my hand even was. I almost bought the thing, but I then decided against it. An internet search tonight reveals a picture http://www.silviofioravanti.it/fazzoletti.php?par1=4&pag=7&lim=60&mn= (scroll towards the bottom. The one I found was the lower one of two.) Apparantly somone collects tissue packets! Well, it was my excitement for the day, and I’d never heard of it before, and no one has mentioned it here that I can recall. has anyone seen one before? Editited to add photo (borrowed without permission):

Well I never. I very much like those, the art work and look of the thing. And from the look of the site there’s a whole world of collectibles I’d never considered. I think you did well not to buy it though…if you can’t chew it snuff it or smoke it, it would end by gathering dust.

True enough, though I would have made myself use it up, even though I use hankies 90% of the time. A further search of the same website turned up another that was a promo for Pöschl’s Replay series.

Tissues are a permanent merchandise product of Pöschl, their salesmen are giving to customers. The recent motive is of that trendy guy enjoying his pinch, from the Pöschl website.

The one in the picture is neat, i like it. The new guy is somehow… “strange”
