Gletscherprise Extra

I think that it is no secret that i am a fan of Gletscherprise (1st snuff ever, years ago) and other Pöschel´s (mainly Schmalzer). I really like the Gletscherprise Extra. It is somehow fucking heavy in the nose - it reminds me of Wick VapoRub. This stuff is by far the most “medicated” snuff i ever came across. To let you know what i am talking about, regular Gletscherprise offers a mixture of menthol and something called “Columbia - oil”. In Gletscherprise Extra, you go only with the Columbia - oil and no menthol. Everyone who is open minded towards heavily “medicated” snuffs, should give this one a shot. It is nothing for all the day but a pinch here and there feels like medicine for you nose :wink: Comments ? Other views ?

I don’t mind GP. GP extra every time I use it, I instantly fly into a sneezing fit, my nose runs like a tap for twenty minutes after I get the sneezing under control, then my sinuses seize up and I can’t breath for an hour or two. But the flavor is okay, I suppose. My .02 worth. I’m pretty sure its just GP, minus some menthol, plus some spearmint, and “Columbia Oil” is one of the great unsolved mysteries of the snuffing world…no one knows what the hell it is.

I like the regular Gletscher so I tried the Extra with optimistic curiosity. I was disappointed. The flavor was nothing like I had expected and it wasn’t my cup of tea.

I think columbia is spruce or something like that.

Colombia oils is the same as Castrol GTX.

Bayern-Prise I like best of their tapbox variety even though I have Gletscher from time to time. I just try not to think about the paraffin or motor oil.

@Pieter: I wouldn’t doubt it! Gletscherprise…now with Castrol!

PieterClaassen: "Colombia oils is the same as Castrol GTX. " Awesome!!
