Who else is familiar with Western Glory? I find that its consistancy is level of moisture is very soothing. The herbal scents in it remind me of 6 Photo Kailash except it isnot over bearing and the tobacco flavor resonates after theherbal flavor subsides. Very pleasant snuff imho. I am incredibly satisfied with all my 25g orders, thank god I got rid of those horrible tap boxes.

Very good snuff, one of my favorite GH’s. I think you will like F&T’s Bordeaux if you like this.

Also if you like Indian snuffs, Gawith Hoggarth’s perfumed range have something of a similar vibe. Try Mitchells, Ambassador and Lakeland.

Does it have musk? That’s the one thing determining whether I’d try it or not.

No, definitely not a noticeable dose of it anyways, don’t know why, just how my “palate” is. Have attempted the F&T Bordeaux and Macouba and just couldn’t do it, and it takes forever for the scent to go away. No offense, though to people who like it!

There is no reason to say no offense, everyone has a different taste and if others can not accept that then its their own fault. If musk is the scent that is in packards club then I don’t think it is in WG. I am not too well versed in the different flavors so I can’t definantly tell you, however a 25g is not expensive and you can always trade it if you don’t like it.

I don’t detect any musk in the Packard’s as I recall, little if any. And although F. Grunt has some I didn’t pick out that scent at all before I knew about it, but the F&T Bordeaux and Macouba- and of course the blends containing those two are just super over the top to me. Couldn’t get the scent out of me fast enough. But I can handle thier French Carrotte, Old Paris, Santo Domingo etc. virtually anytime. but enough about me…

does it smell like a heady perfume/cologne? maybe I’ll just buy some next time.

Honestly I have not tried any F&T snuffs yet, next time I put in an order I will get some. I have not tried any of the snuffs you mentioned in your last post other than packards club. You should try your Packards club again, because last I recall is that it is a ‘musky’ cheap cologne smelling snuff, although it does have a rather complex flavor with a perhaps citrus undertone in there somewhere. The inital menthol blast that it gives probably makes it difficult to grasp the other flavors that are involved. Anyway, the WG is not very much at all the way you are explaining, it is more of a herbal and indian-like nag champa flavor, but not nearly as powerful as an indian snuff would have it, the herbal scent reminds me of rosemary but it also has a slight smokey undertone; once the inital flavors start to subside it becomes a rather floral scent in the nose. It is a rather glorious snuff so I see where it gets its name, I think if you get it you will definantly like it.

I’ll keep it in mind… I do tend to like the G&H offerings, except a couple I found to be a little deficient scentwise, then again those were in tap-boxes…

Its been a long time, but i’m still kicking myself for ever getting them.

If I knew better I wouldn’t still have a handfull of tappers on hand, although I figure if some of them were good, they’d be just great out of a 25g-er!
