Opened up my tap box and this snuff is rather strongly mentholated? Great for clearing the nose. It’s my first time with this snuff, is it meant to be mentholated? I had in my mind that is was an un scented snuff.
That’s curious! Menthol is not part of the traditional Kendal Brown flavouring as far as I know - although each company has a different take on traditional types like KB. I’m not certain whether or not I’ve tried the GH version, but if you are getting a big menthol blast my suspicion would be that you have a mis-labelled tap box!
@Justin Sorry my bad… I had decanted GH whisky into the tin not Kendall brown ,oops The GH KB is moist (ish) dark and lovely! not a hint of menthol ! an earthy tobacco scent … Now that’s more like it 
GH was the first snuff i ordered…love the earthy tobacco scent. Will have to get some more. Shame about the crap box’s though, it doesn’t stay moist for very long.
The first time I took it when I received my tap box a week ago I couldn’t stand it. But now taking it again I begin to like it. Unfortunately my box is a little dried out, probably long on stock at the supplier Northerner.com. But it reminds my of the typical Dutch Zware Shag I used to smoke sometimes when I was young. That is made of dark Kentucky tobacco’s.
