Gardenia snuff anyone?

The Gardenia flower has a beautiful perfume. It’s said to be the strongest of all flowers.

But curiously I’ve not seen one commercial snuff that has Gardenia in it.

I milled 50 gr Indonesian Dark Fire Cured Virginia leaf and stem and added several drops of pure Gardenia oil, steam extracted. Stirred it around and left it for a week in an closed container. It looks very coarse in the photo but is actually a medium grind.

Oh, wow! Stunningly beautiful. Totally natural aroma.

I am so pleased with it. Nice nose burn and a refreshing lift.

Homemade snuffs are the way to go!

I guess no one much here makes their own snuffs or is interested in the idea. I’ve always believed that meals lovingly cooked at home are better than those bought in tins or packets ready made at the supermarket. Lol.

I plan on attempting to make my own snuff batches this year (after ordering some raw flour from Rosinski); I’m not remotely experienced in this process and have even less regarding gardenia, but reading a scent profile sounds very appealing; I might have to get my hands on some oil to test for myself.
