I know it is not really that important in the big scheme of things, but this morning I got a little excited as I had 98 posts. I log on this evening to find it down to 52. What happened?

On my days off i think i average at least 10-20 vists a day(PS you guys are not posting enough to keep me entertained). Maybe he’s retired and living the good life- snuff and the internet.
ever since they came out with those silly badges, post count has been somthing that everyone seems to take note of. what a shame. I’ve noticed a far more uptight nature in this forum since the major changes. Right now i’m being asked to delete one of my started discussions on GH Western Glory. Apparently my ‘Review’ is not in the proper place. I need to delete it and re-post it under somone elses ‘pre-existing’ discussion (which makes no sense since I made mine long before the new one). This type of unneccesary organization gets me a little annoyed, but I normally wouldn’t be too bothered by it, its just that my ‘review’ isn’t a review at all, I had just gotten the snuff at the time and it was reccommended to me so I figured I would post my initial reaction to it, first impression have you, and that perhaps other people who have tried it can give me their own feedback (which is what happened if you read the comments). smh. Hmmm … i don’t see it. I don’t think folks care how many posts they have, etc. I just don’t see any discussion, besides this one, of what you speak of Vito. I think being asked to keep the place organized is a prerogative of the owner(s)/mod(s) … it helps new members find information easier … which is why this place exists.
@Vito445 - you have a point, but speaking from the perspective of having owned Snuffhouse, the changes are less about change for changes sake but because the site was very poorly put together by the original owner/designer. Snuffhouse is very difficult platform to work on and everything is done in a kind of work about way. I had it very simple because my IT skills are zero and I think the mods are just trying to get it working to its full potential, which is not very high. I would guess they would change it if enough people asked for it. Just how I see it, your thoughts are completely valid imo though.
I offered to stop the badges since a few members stated dislike for them, I even took a poll. All of 4 or 5 members didn’t want the badges.
I don’t see the post count as an issue. This site doesn’t have the “newbie” syndrome of some sites. All input on snuff seems to be welcomed as long as it is delivered politely. 1st post or 10,000th…

idk, i get up at 5 am to go to work and dont get home till late in the afternoon. my 20 minutes of snuffhouse downtime keeps ending up being annoying. Right after I post a trade, the trade discussion gets deleted and I have to repost it in a new trade forum, i’m like what the hell that sucks. also i keep getting asked to move around all my old discussions that I dont even care much about anymore anyway. First the category is wrong, then somthing else is wrong and I cant edit it. bah, just delete the damn post so I dont have to deal with this lmao. I just want to come here to socialize with everyone, we have a very unique social atmosphere you know. I wish ya all could hear my tone in these written words cause I dont want people getting the wrong idea, a petty bs complaint can look way more crass in writing.
And I dont care if we have badges or not, it really means nothing to me, I just dont want them to get in the way of anything. On uptight complex forums people look for credibility when they want to trade stuff with people. I’ve blindly trusted people every time i’ve traded/sold snuff on here, and it feels good to be able to do that. To argue over badges is like kids fighting over crayons, its just silly, Its not like i’m trying to start an anti-badges movement lmao. Its more like dont patch somthing thats not broken, that goes for every change thats made. At the end of the day, all I want is to be able to joke around and socialize with you guys about snuff and off topic things like always.
Ok, in the future we will just delete it so you don’t have to worry about it. Clearly since you only spend 20 minutes a day here, you don’t have any skin in the game. For those of us that have been working to make this site more functional and useful for others, things like moving threads to the correct spot and keeping post tidy is part of our job. Nobody is fighting over the badges, I don’t think it has been brought up until you posted about it. The badges will stay until there is a mass cry against them. Nobody on this site has more credibility due to their post count, badge count, or points. Those things are just icing on the cake. If you don’t care about the badges, points, or post counts, don’t pay attention to them.
Whats this about POINTS, AND POST COUNTS ? W.T.H. ? NOBODY TELLS ME NUTTIN . I want to play too .
