Funny Old Man

@itsuke: On your bookshelf, is that all Manga? It looks like a series of books, so I am guessing it’s Manga.

itsuke Very clear, high quality video! Nice!

Very good new vids! Picture and sound quality are as good as it could get as well, so just go ahead if you find the time! And I really wouldn´t think in terms of novices and veterans, that´s a good lesson ermtony gave me. (thanks Tony!) It doesn´t too much matter whether you´ve had a few hundred snuffs, used it for decades or have a pound of snuff a day, it´s the love for this fine stuff that counts. This is really the best promotion for snuff imaginable.

I reccomend everyone start doing reviews that way! Dholakia Kamal Is up! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wry0jWXeouE

@mrmaroon: The numbers of your snuff reviews are growing! The more the merrier~ @cstokes4: The bookshelf immediately behind me is packed with books on historical studies and novels. The other one behind my right is indeed lined with Japanese mangas. @Bart and Red Star: Thank you for your encouragement, perhaps you two will upload some reviews on youtube?

itsuke you look a lot like someone I knew once. odd.

Well, I have an old 8 mm reel to reel projector that still works and I saw an old Kodak Brownie wind up moving picture camera on E-bay. I’m thinking of buying this and making a movie. I dabble with old box cameras and black and white photography, mostly Kodak Hawkeye cameras. I understand it’s somewhat of a stupid thing to do in the age of technology but my goal is to make a review that would look as though it was done 80 years ago. (The film does not have sound capabilities on it’s own, though. I’m sure I could add at least some music to the movie). I really enjoy retro things like that and I could still show the different methods of taking snuff.Possibly, if I posted it as the ‘oldest known footage of a snuffer’, it would really get the hits and promote Snuff in a serious way? We shall see. But yes, these clips have inspired me to make a move.

@cstokes4 Bro, where did Jesse go? I can’t tell but is your new avatar his tombstone?

@ Bart - I have an old Kodak brownie camera my grandfather got from the korean war! My next snuff vid I will post it!

No plans here. And really, there are already more than enough guys posting videos there. I´ll reconsider if there´s a 50/50 balance someday

@Snifs: It was Doc Holliday! My current icon is a picture of a headstone in a Yellow Fever field at Oakdale Cemetery in Wilmington, NC. Every year the yellow flowers bloom in honor of those that lost their lives in the plague. It is estimated that there is thousand upon thousand buried in the field, which if laid out properly could probably only handle a few hundred graves at best.

Itsuke reminded of my roommate from this summer, just because I saw something about Hong Kong on the channel page. It’s kind of odd, because from what Vernon told me of it, a lot of people smoke, but tobacco sounded like it was heavily frowned upon. I’d love to go there some day, but the Chinese government quite frankly scares the crap out of me. I know they promised to leave Hong Kong as it was when the British returned it, and not mess with things, but I don’t trust them (the Beijing politburo, no issue with the Chinese people). Then again, Vernon can’t watch cable news here in Maine, because he gets angry every time there’s a news story on about Hong Kong and CNN calls it “Communist China.”

Who’s Vernon?

@shikitohno Don’t get me started with Communist China! Well, to be fair, it isn’t communist anymore, it’s just a typical dictatorship, but trust me, I don’t mean it as a compliment. My beloved city is not what it used to be anymore… Coming back to the topic of tobacco: Hong Kong is adopting the same anti-tobacco policy that is being enforced in other developed nations. Cigarette smoking is indeed frowned upon. However, people is still tolerant about pipe smoking----the gentleman image assoicated with it continues to hold sway in people’s minds. Snuff use in HK on the other hand is unheard of. People know about snuff bottles, but not many of them know there are western brands of snuff still available for use.
