C

I hope the snuff is as good as the band.

B

@Firestarter0 they also have it with menthol.

M

Time to start another shopping cart :-}

F

That obvious i love menthols? haha.

F

OH my!!! Looks like I will be placing an order. Damn!!!

A

lunecat - never noticed the made in India on the Fubar label. Sure you’re right.

M

I think MrSnuff said as much not too long ago.

B

@asieg33 Fubar is a contract brand name made exclusively for Mr.Snuff and is made by Dholakia . You can have them make you Asieg33 snuff And create your own line

We already have Cheese & Bacon for a snuff that delights and annoys people in equal measure. :))

Actually, I might have to try Black Joe, my SG Black Coffee has almost run out, and though SnuffStore has a 20 percent off deal on SG tapboxes they aren’t currently listing Black Coffee! :(( I’m tempted to try G&H Tia Maria and Abraxas Cafe 11 too - one of the three must be similar!

B

do it tia maria is awesome. It’s not quite coffee more coffee liquer but it’s awesome and café 11 is an amazing snuff.

S

Tia Maria is one of the few GH snuffs I really like.

There have been a few comments where folk have mentioned SG Black Coffee & Black Joe in the same sentence. They both have a coffee scent but in a different way (SG stronger & more chocholate) the snuff itself is also quite different in character base tobacco, mill, moisture etc. It is personal preference of course - but in my opinion SG Black Coffee is x10 better than Black Joe in the coffee race. Black Joe also seems to irritate my throat in a way no other snuff does. That said buy a tin and judge for yourself.

I couldnt agree more with @lunecat…I got a sample from a SH member of Black Joe. SG BLK COFFEE is overall a much better snuff. Mainly due to no matter how I do the Black Joe ( spoon , pinch , back of hand , etc. ) the snuff is so light in texture grind etc, it burns the nose and goes straight through to the throat. I am glad I only got a sample

M

I agree w/lunecat. I enjoy the coffee scent, but I always get some throat irritation, no matter how softly I snuff it up. I tried mixing w/ some 6 Photo Natural to tone down the throat issue, but it didn’t seem to help. I think it may be because it seems kind of oily, and super fine. I’m not going to stop using it, but maybe it’ll get easier to take with time. All in all I find it enjoyable, despite the throat kick. I haven’t tried any other coffee snuff except my own concoctions, which were not very good. I think next time I order, I’ll try some SG coffee. I’ve read nothing but good reports of it, and I like all the other SG snuffs I’ve tried.

T

black joe is in my most recent order so ill have to chip in my two cents when i get it.Throat irritation is an issue I have with grunt as well, but I’ve gotten more accustomed to it so it shouldn’t be a huge problem.

D

I may be strange, but I find that I enjoy the FUBAR line less and less the more I use them. It’s sad too. it was my hands-down favorite snuff and now I can hardly stand any of them. I think it’s the drip honestly. At first it didn’t bother me that it was acrid and nasty, now it bothers me enough to not take it in the first place. That stuff was my primary intake for a while, now I’m more into Toque and F&T snuffs. I think I have 600g+ sitting around too.

F

Odd, I love Black JOe and have none of the throat issues described. I find it quite easy to take and enjoyable. NOw, I do one hit of almost any Toque and I have instantaneous sore throat. A shame bc I really love Toque Natural but it irritates my throat bad. I will say, there is something “unnatural” about FUBAR snuffs, but I love Grunt and Black Joe.

B

One of my snuff converts I turned on to Grado caffe, placed a snuff order got the Black Joe: now he mixes the two, I tried it and it is better than the fugazi menthol. But I do enjoy Both the BJ & Fugazi Menthol as they are. I have the sneaking suspicion this was created for my love of coffee scented snuff . Thanks Mr.Snuff

J

Black Joe is the only coffee scented snuff I’ve had yet that actually smells like coffee. I like the burn, too.

T

I got mine in the mail yesterday and have sampled it a few times since then. The coffee flavor is good but initially the pungency reminds me of a coffee liqueur. The throat irritation it gives me isn’t as bad as the throat irritation from grunt and the flavor might change as the snuff breathes some more. It was packed into a vacuum tin so it still has some of the ammonia in it.

Z

I’m pleased with Black Joe. Strong nic, coffee/chocolate tones, sticks with you for a good while. Thick semi-moist snuff.

Send them to me. I will properly dispose of them.

C

To me the scent is similar to the one used on Cafe 11 but on the Fubar base, I hope the consistency down the line is not a problem as it is with some of their other snuffs. I like it so far

P

I’ve tried a few coffee snuffs in the past and they really didn’t do much for me. Black Joe seems to hit the mark at the moment. We’ll see as time moves on.

W

I just tried a couple pinches this morning with my coffee. After first crack of the tin, the ammonia scent was definitely there. A bit of menthol as well. It did burn a bit, which I enjoy. The coffee is there and its subtle at first. Then gets stronger as it warms in the nose. Heightens the taste and smell of my coffee and was very pleasant. A few minutes after blow out, I get a sense of barnyard or a light swiss chocolate. Almost like the lingering scent of dholakia swiss. Migght just be mynosr this morning. I really enjoyed it though. Going back for more!

W

I have been using this for over a month now and I like it a lot. At first the drip was a bit much but either I got used to it or altered my technique when snuffing this. I like SG Black Coffee also but I find the Fubar to be my prefered coffee snuff ATM. No doubt that will change at some point as it seems to do all the time.

W

To take away from my comment above. The menthol note I was getting is not there. It must have been the ghost of kailash that I had earlier that day.

D

That’s my chief complain about any of the Dholakia base snuffs. Fubar and Qsnuff particularly have some of the most acrid, unpleasant drip I have ever encountered. I still enjoy them, but it has to be a small pinch here and a small pinch there. For anything of quantity I have to use a different brand.

W

@dogwalla I am the total opposite. I’ve never had Qsnuff, but I really like the drip on this black Joe and the other FUBAR drips don’t bother me.

T

My Fugazi has mellowed a bit since the tine is about half full and the remaining snuff can breathe. It’s a solid coffee snuff with quite a burn. Kinda like drinking hot coffee.

W

It’s only been a few days but the ammonia has pretty much dissipated. And yes I get more coffee notes every time I crack the tin. I really like this stuff. Planning a bulk order soon and this is on the list.

P

A mentholated Coffee snuff? And it is part of the FUBAR line. Damn I need to try this one! Next order from Mr. Snuff I need to get this stuff. Love FUBAR and this sounds extremely alluring.
