I usually leave my HDT on a level surface at home, and don’t shake it or move it around much while getting a pinch. This past weekend I went on a trip and put my tin in a backpack along with my snus etc. What I’ve found is now the level is about 1/2 inch higher, fluffier and more flavorfull. Should I give my HDT a jostle every now and again to get this affect?

I think it happens with time aswell. I recently found a med tin of F&T that I’d put somewhere and forgotten about some time ago, and the snuff was exactly as you describe, fluffy and flavourful…almost like caramel and nuts, or something like that, fantastic.
