Any tips or techniques for flavoring your own snuff? I’m wanting to make a vanilla or cinammon type. I don’t really know anything about this. Thankyou.
I would recommend starting here, not sure how to make this a clicky so you may have to copy and paste it to your browser. http://snuffhouse.org/discussion/41/own-flavouring/#Item\_7
Hello mcosta and welcome to the forum. I will put a couple links here for you to look at. Read through all the comments. Some have more than 1 page of info. Flavoring snuff 1 Flavoring snuff 2 Flavoring snuff 3 (for vanilla) Flavoring snuff 4 (the link BigSnoot added)
You can add 1/8 teaspoon powdered cinnamon to 1 tablespoon of tobacco snuff. Goes really good with homemade High Toast from cigar leaf.
I like to use Allspice in snuff but thats just a matter of personal taste.
It’s all a matter of taste and personal makeup. I love clove, but I can’t take it in snuff. It just burns my mucous membranes too badly. Some people like cayenne pepper in snuff. I just haven’t gotten around to trying allspice yet.

I leave it in and sieve the snuff to remove any large particles. You can also just put a cinnamon stick in the snuff and stir it up every day or two until the tobacco is scented to your liking.
Watermelon Sweet Snuff - My lastest creation : Recipe: 1/2 smashbox Stoker’s Sweet 1 drop watermelon flavor oil mix oil and snuff, sieve a few times. Let set overnight in closed snuff box. opiniont: Nice fragrance upon opening the box. Watermelon flavor like a jolly rancher candy. Fruity and perfumed, not unlike strawberry in this regard. Sweet flavor in snuff compliments the fruit and the throat drainage is not unpleasant. Next flavors to try: Coconut and Rootbeer!
