I’ve spent time with my first snuff order that arrived the other day. I’ve placed two other orders since and those should be here next week. My first order was comprised of SG Bouquet, SG KB Special, SG Apple, and SG Cob Dark. I’ve spent some time with each snuff and my first impressions are… SG Bouquet lives up to it’s namesake. It’s not for me, at least not right now. I’ll hang onto it and give it another go soon. It was the snuff I spent the least amount of time with. SG KB Special is great. It’s hard hitting, sneezy, drippy, and a more natural tobacco snuff. I really like this one, but would like it to be a little finer and drier. SG Apple is very easy to take. I wasn’t real into at first, but spent a solid half hour snuffing large amounts of it every five to ten minutes, which provided a pretty nice session. SG Cob Dark is interesting. It’s a perfume floral scent, but with a deep musky tobacco base. I like this one, but can’t do long sessions with it. It’s nice for public sessions because someone always seems to make a remark about something smelling good. I’ve learned that it truly is easier to take larger amounts. Enjoy the burn, let it drip, wait, wait, relax, wait, and then blow. I’ve learned that you really do need to blow following a take in order to get the full effect of the snuff on the next go around. I’ve learned that I will have to use my neti pot more often, which I certainly don’t mind. I have a deviated septum and one nostril seems to clog pretty good after longer sessions. I’ve read that many people don’t use a nasal douche. Wow! Hardcore. I’m going to need to clean my sinuses regularly in order to really enjoy snuff on an ongoing basis. My nose is my pipe and my neti pot is my pipe cleaner. I’ve got about 12 more new ones on the way including some heavier hitters in the Lady N arena, including White Elephant, which I’ve heard so much about. I’m excited to try some drier snuffs, stronger snuffs, menthols, SP’s, and Toasts as well. All in all, I’m having fun and enjoy myself. It’s making a great complement to smoking a pipe. Don’t forget to set the clock forward tonight. Cheers & Health Jim

Yeah I like all of the true-Kendal Kendal Browns (haven’t tried Wilsons/F&T versions yet). They have a good burn to them because sometimes they almost have the consistency of wet Grape Nuts cereal, but such a comforting scent. Just enough citrus (in the ones that contain citrus/bergamot), not too much. KB is my favorite for bedtime reading.
