Finally did it!

M

I finally did something I thought I never would! I finished a can of snuff! I got caught up in buying more and more types, that I never really could finish one off. I spread my snuffing carreer over about 15 different kinds. The one I finished is the worlds famous BRUTAL! - I mean BRUTON! Most people Ive talked to hate the snuff, but it is my new all time favorite. Is there any difference between BRUTON and Rooster? I haven’t tried the latter, but I heard they are similar.

C

Bruton’s and Rooster are quite different. One immediate difference is color, Rooster is a dark Cocoa brown. Rooster is also much smokier. I haven’t had either in ages, so take this with a grain of salt.

B

You really should try the ROOSTER! Although, I admit I’m biased, as it’s been my goto snuff for many years.

M

Rooster has taken top spot for me, in American Snuffs. The flavour is identical to the smell of a brand-new pair of Cowboy Boots. Seriously! (or maybe the interior of a very expensive new car with leather seats.) Rewarding doesn’t even scratch the surface!

Bruton is much more bitter and sharper than Rooster. Its also stronger. Yes Rooster is smokier, and tastes better. All of the US Smokeless I have tried have some similar character with each other, but nothing is quite like Bruton.

S

this discussion title is totally misleading, “finally did it”. I was expecting to hear about a ménage á trois or something else totally exciting, not just an empty tin of bruton Conrats, I guess?

C

AHAHHAHA LOL! Well, I guess both are great accomplishments! (The ménage á trois and empty Bruton’s)

T

Hey, congrats, mrmaroon - I guess we all remember our first!

My first one to finish was Wilson’s Best SP. I still have the tin though it’s all dented. I cleaned off the label and filled it with Toque Original which only has a few days left in it…I’ll gladly finish it so I can order more.

Empty tins can come in handy for mixes and such!
