It strikes me as a newbie that one of the greatest advantages to snuff is being able to use it anywhere. Especially now that the weather is turning chilly, I find it very satisfying to be allowed to pursue my habit indoors once again. Personally, I really enjoy snuff whilst in a hot bath with a cup of coffee. How about y’all?

For me, it’s doing it in my office. There is obviously no smoking in the building, but our company is very, very anti-smoking. Those that do (both of them) are pariahs, and that’s not a road I want to go down. I’ve kept my smoking hidden for years, but with the snuff I just bang away at it in my office. I can be so discrete with it that nobody has ever noticed me doing it.

Erm, in my nose! Seriously though, I like to do it at work because I can feel smug that I’m still gettting nicotine even though smoking is not allowed.

I like to take my Kilner jar full of my snuffs into my recording studio, shut the door, pull the soundproof curtains, have a large pinch and then sit back and let the creative juices flow. Snuff seems to loosen me up creatively and I find solitude quite inspiring, so the two combined are brilliant. I also like to have a pinch when I’m at the park watching my daughter play, especially in this autumnal weather. A pinch of Brunswick or Best Dark is just glorious with that firm, brackish autumn breeze tossing itself back and forth. I have no issue with snuffing in public, although judging by the looks I often get, others do!

@jinder lucky you, where I live we didnt get autumn, it went straight from summer to winter! I like to grab a few tins, sit down in front of the TV and snuff away.

I don’t have a favorite place but I do have favorite times which are: Anytime I’m inside a building or at home, right before I walk out the door…fresh air makes many snuffs that much more lovely to have in the nose, and right before bed with a cup of tea and a good book.

With snuff, just about anywhere is good. I must admit, however, that I get a particularly rebellious thrill from popping a portion of snus into my lip just before I enter my doctor’s office. }

There are actually some hatha yoga practices that will draw air into the anus. Fortunately the nose suffices for nicotine uptake. Having said THAT, my favorite place to snuff I’ll admit is on the toilet seat. I do snuff with my nose though, just to be clear.

In the bathroom at work because all tobacco products are outlawed at my workplace. At home I usually snuff sitting in bed watching tv because my snuff stash is in my nightstand.

Anywhere… In church I will only snuff as far as the narthex. When in a public building, my favorite spot is right under the “NO SMOKING” sign.

I like to snuff in the car, in the office, but I love to take a snuff at this autumn time of year when I take the dog out when the cool breeze is blowing. I think this enhances the pinch.

I was sitting on my porch last night, and the very slight breeze brought me the smells of fireplaces burning. And with the leaves all changing and that cool crispness in the air, it really felt like autumn. I grabbed a pinch of Toque Natural Toast and it sort of merged with all of the other smells in the area and really made for a nice, relaxing evening. It’s amazing how much of our experiences and emotions can be tied to smell. My favorite place: As the weather cools, anywhere indoors is becoming my favorite. No more standing outside in a snow storm for nicotine! Woohoo!

@dogwalla Indeed. There are several snuffs that go perfectly with this weather and overall feel of the season. The de Kralingse Latakia blends are best savored in the air such as you describe.
