Looking for feedback on what types of snuff are enjoyed with food. As an example, I really love Fribourg & Treyer’s French Carotte with a traditional carvery. Please share your favourite pairings.
I cannot be of any help in this matter – I always flush my nose with some handfuls of lukewarm tap water before any meal. I do enjoy pairing snuff with coffee, though. Low to medium roasted Arabica, usually.
I always flush my nose before a meal too but I enjoy a plain snuff like Bernard Virginie after a good meal.
Really interesting. I love pairing snuff with food, but that’s probably because I do not pair food with medicated snuffs.
Just tonight, I tried some SNUV: Black Sinesis, while having some fruit cocktail. Very nice! I found they both played well together, enhancing both the scents, and flavors. The peaches in particular seemed extra sweet and punchy.
I too am a nose flusher before a meal but I do like eating fresh citrus fruits with a menthol in my nose, now mostly Gletcherprise.
Samuel Gawith: Firedance, pairs wonderfully with coffee.
A pleasant surprise I experienced earlier today. I found the heat from the coffee really brought out the dark brandy aroma and flavors in Firedance.
