Looking to get some F&T/WoS snuffs, not sure what to try – I’m fairly new to snuff and all of it looks pretty good. Not big into strong medicated snuffs, and I’ve never tried an SP… I’m a huge fan of Old Mill snuffs, not sure if that’s helpful… Anyways, just looking for some recommendations! Any thoughts?
HDT, pure backy gold. Fine, dry, slightly earthy, slightly old book smell. Reminds me of a gentleman of a certain age, distinguished, writing in his journal of days gone by.

F&T Old Paris, HDT, Santo Domingo, and Bordeaux (as long as you like highly perfumed snuffs)
WoS Irish Toast 22, Tom Buck, Gold Label, Best Dark, Crumbs of Comfort, Grand Cairo, plus anything that sounds good to you. Lots of SPs here, but that’s where WoS really shines imho.
Just some of my favorites, YMMV.
These two are HIGH up my must-snuff list:
F&T - High Dry Toast
WoS - Grand Cairo (my desert island snuff)
Here’s my current Sharrow Mills preferences… SP type: Tom Buck/Queens Extra Strong, Grand Cairo Darker WoS: Best Dark, Brunswick, Burgundy Dessert Snuffs: Irish Coffee, Chocolate Orange, Rum and Blackberry Herbal: Thyme and Lemon, Peppermint F&T Top 3: Old Paris, Santa Domingo, Princes/Princes Special Fruity: Tangerine
For now definitely Old Paris. H.D.T. is a bit to much at the moment. Maybe later in my snuff career.

@50ft_trad funny you mention Burgundy.Im having an awful time finding it.Seems MS doesnt stock it anymore. I suspect youre getting that local then? Its very well done and im down to ~3g and kicking myself for not stocking up on it.
@LeNezzz i like your description of HDT. I get the same thing but think its in the minority because most describe it as nutty/smokey. I get the old book smell a lot with WEGarrett scotch…ok well maybe more of a book that was previously on fire and tamped out. What ive done is mix equal parts of the two and its just wonderful…and loaded with vit N to boot!
@Chicago_CA I actually ordered it from Wilsons and picked it up direct from the mill. I’m pretty sure it’s still listed on their website. Can’t recall seeing it listed anywhere else though

@50ft_trad right, i was afraid of that. Sharrow wont ship to the States anymore. Im jealous your able to run over to the mill like that : )
@Chicago_CA Yes, I’m fortunate enough to be less than an hours drive away. In fact if I didn’t hang about too long and traffic didn’t give me too much of a headache, I could probably call at Wilsons first thing in a morning, get to GH/SG in the afternoon, and be hammering on Roderick’s door at Toque before he went to bed :)) Might be worth having a word with MrSnuff and see if they can put in an order for you. Alternatively have a word with Jaxons at snuff.ltd.uk as they may be able to help/advise EDIT: I just checked on a route planner, and home to Wilsons to Gawiths to Toque and back home is 9 hours barring stops and traffic

It would be a 9 hour drive for me just to find 3 different snuffs #-o and two of them, american scotch of course, are around the corner. The third would be the tricky one.
