My favorite coffee with snuff or a pipe is probably Kona blends or pure Kona. I found a great Kona blend at Target for $5.99 a bag and it is delicious and affordable. Pure Kona is like $50 a pound so that is a rare treat.

Ethiopian Yirgacheffe city roast is at the top of my list

@Mouse I thought about trying something along those lines from the company I get my loose tea from online. They have an assortment of specialty coffees and the description of the one like that sounded good.

M

I buy it in 5 lb. bags from coffeebeandirect.com, both roasted and green for homeroasting. Good company.

M

@Mouse I’ll have to check that site out.

T

I like dark roast coffees, primarily those from Sumatra.

What ever is on sale, but it has to be whole bean, Grind slightly rough ,peculated. Black . I used to be a connoisseur of coffees . Now I am not so particular. As long as it sits well that’s all that matters. Acids are a bitch after you have destroyed yourself.

B

I used to drink mostly Asian beans, dark roasted, but now I like Central American coffees. But I’m no that picky anymore, as long as it’s whole beans, medium to dark roast, I’m happy.

M

Cuban or Haitian coffee for sure, very hard to beat IMO

Preference is a black French roast… MMMMM. But the best I ever had was weasel coffee in Vietnam…

City Roast Columbian Supremo from coffeebeandirect.com. Illy Espresso made in a Moka Pot

Not had Vietnam. Sainsbury’s supermarkets in the UK do a French roast with chickory that’s very traditionally French in style (and I believe chickory makes it’s way into creole/cajun tradition in the southern US also?).Sainsbury’s also do a Viennese coffee blend with fig extract; which again is pretty lush…

I tried roasting green bean with some success but now I just fine grind Josies Java House and cook it up turkish method in one of my Ibriks, Stronger the better… ~O)

İlly filter is awesome. But i can’t get the concept of drinking coffee with pipe, from what i experienced, coffee ruins the tobacco experience. edit: i am speaking about pipe, not snuff.

E

@snuffysmiff I like turkish and espresso with pipe a lot more than long black coffee. So my answer is some local turkish coffee, or some İlly espresso.

I do like dark roasts and will have to try some more from specialty coffee suppliers because the dark roasts I have had haven’t all been the best (store brand). However, my Mother gave me a bag that she got from her sister that was from Peru, it was a really dark roast and different than I have ever had and I really liked it. Maybe I will buy some of that myself but I have to ask my Mother what it was called because I don’t remember.

S

Oh, and I don’t mind a good Spanish or Irish coffee either!!!

M

Anyone that has a Food Lion near you and likes Dark or French Roasts should try the Food Lion store brand French Roast. I bought some thinking it would be mediocre or not so good and suprisingly it’s really good. It’s the best store brand coffee I have ever had and I plan on trying some more of their store varieties and I recommend that others do as well.

I get a lovely La Esperanza from a company called Pact Coffee, which is roasted and ground in small batches by an actual person! They even have the name of the employee that prepared it on the packet. It costs about £7 a pack with postage I think so is actually pretty good value. Plus on their website they give you all the details, where its from, grown by who etc. It is delicious coffee, and excellent with a nice earth offering from SG early in the morning. I recommend! https://www.pactcoffee.com/

Usually Pilon or Bustello in an espresso maker. Black

I am a fan of Butternut now owned by Folgers, but I bought a bag of Dunkin’ Donuts Dunkin Turbo… and I LOVE IT.

M

@JohnnyFriday I’ve had the Dunkin Turbo, I bought it thinking it had extra caffeine but the bag just said it had an extra shot of coffee flavor. Couldn’t tell if it had any extra caffeine or not but it sure did taste good. ~O) :D/

I

“Drunkin” Donuts makes surprisingly good coffee for the price, I do enjoy it iced with a bit of 1/2&1/2 with a snuff or a pipe in the summer or hot and black in the winter. Piñon Coffee is popular here and I drink a lot of that as well.

C

I am a java head & recently for the morning cup it’s been Dunkin’ Donuts Original. Freshly ground and always in a French press :-c
