There is much here of interest, aside from the main focus on snuffboxes. Many wonderful illustrations.

My favorite section on this website has always been the one with the postcards.
Yes, you’re right, they are wonderful. I confess to downloading a few. The cards provide great insight into 19th and early 20th century snuff taking. Thanks Filek
This is a really beautiful collection and if I didn’t collect snuff tins, I would definitely try this one. At least I have one postcard in my snuff related items of Rotterdam’s windmills which I did recieve from Jaap.
Yes it is. I was so sorry to read that Jaap has had to give up making the snuff. Damn those EU regulations. See update at end of this webpage but Im sure you already know this. Did you have the chance to try his?
Sure did - a big fan of their creations. I corresponded with Jaap very willingly and often. And I also contributed to the creation of Hermbstedt’s Brasil snuff and the version “With Kashubian sauce”. A big loss to the snuff community as snuffs from those windmills were amazing.
Oh, you’re an interesting chap. I guess he might make some for his own private use.
@snuffmiller Do you hide any carrots in the attic?
Carrots of snuff? No, i don’t. Lol.
And I only was trying to summon Jaap to confirm your thesis. Still, I’d be impressed if you hid some carrots somewhere.
He he! . That’s funny!
That’s very interesting about the Kashubian with the sauce. I tried it a few times, and liked it. I used to buy many of Jaap’s products directly from his website. In fact I still have a box with about six tubs, half full, of different Molens. Pompadour is my favorite. I’m sad that he is longer able to make his excellent snuff, though I’m glad that he was able to do it. A lot of us evidently have good memories of him and his creations. I’m sure I’m not the only one who has still has a secret stash of his products.
