It amazes me how many people have come and gone, some to return, some never. So I thought it’d be a good time to see who is who and not just be another screen name. I’ll go first to show that there is no fear:
I’m game. Here’s a recent one of me and my cat. (Or perhaps that should be Shadow the cat and his human…)
Well, the photo on my profile is actually a photo of myself. I’m kind of camera shy, but I had that one taken about five years ago or more by a friend who’s a professional photographer, I asked him to take some photos of me for dating sites after I got divorced. He just told me to keep on moving and doing stuff, don’t pose, that kind of thing. So he came up with some funny ones. For the one that I used for my profile, I was pretending that he was a paparazzi and I was pushing his camera out of my face.
^^^^^^^ The HP on a tortilla, kinda like the Vigin Mary on a piece of toast or Elvis in a water stain …
im VERY camera shy haha… but how do i do small images like those? ive only ever managed screen fillers on this forum haha
Kinda old photo, but anyway, here we go:

Not a specific endorsement or anything, but I like to use photobucket - you can crop, re-size and generally play with pictures, and so long as you do not mind the occasional ad, it is free.
but they are big images further up, just represented with a smaller image on the page. how do i do that? using the image link feature it just puts the big image in my posts?
Sup.
@killeidoskope your image broke. LOL!
@killeidoskope yeah, add .jpg to the image link you used and I think we all should be able to see it!
Must… Resist… Urge… To troll
Feel free.

There is normally a distinctly boozy theme to pictures of me!

@Whalen nice Fleshlight
Just to clarify that’s just some freak I found on the internet not my own face. In real life I look like Sherlock Holmes and James Bond put together.

Nope, too late. From now on, my mental image of @cigshurtmylungs will be ol’ knife-nose up there.

Hehe. Particularly since in another thread he talked about wanting to have his head removed from his body and attached to an artificial blood supply system. I must admit that with that portrait, I had some very disturbing images in my mind.
I am a firm believer in life after death… Or " self awareness " returning once again after death. I do not think we have a recollection of where we went or who we once were. Our atoms and molecules even intertwine, we are one. So preservation of the brain or this one specific " soul " is of interest to me but not a necessity. In reality would I allow this to really happen to me? Unlikely, no matter what I spew out on the internet. A brain that’s alive but as no body to output its energy would be agonizing to any brain that requires stimulation I equate the brain to the " recognized soul " the one we are familiar with. The one we can see but aren’t smart enough to unlock. This is one of the souls in all creatures in my opinion; we just don’t know enough about it. Just because it’s a known organ that we already know exists does not mean we understand the brain and nervous systems true power. To me that doesn’t make it any less divine. " For dust you are and to dust you will return." I am not very religious but this statement is very true used in this context. We are all born from not our mothers, but the stars. As long as the stars shine bright and die you know that it’s likely their death will allow you will be born again and again and again even if you don’t remember where your molecules once were. This is why I would be so fascinated with this subject because my brain is one of my souls I wish to hold on for as long as I can. Artificial blood supplies are also as old as world war 2 and may even go farther back then that. It’s not new age by any standard ( I believe even ancient Egyptians tried to do it ) it’s just a simple way of brain preservation. If my brain could be attached to some type of machine that had legs and could move walk and talk afterwards that would be fine but If my brain and head would just sit there like some beef patty because the technology simply didn’t exist to progress further. I would want to be born again. I just don’t want to forget who I am or who I love or what I am because I am still only human so these things matter to me. In reality I will most likely study my whole life just to die. Even if Information is never truly lost ( information being us ) it can still be rearranged to the point it is unrecognizable. Chances are though I’m just being silly because the truth is all our atoms and molecules are just borrowed. We don’t own them even at a scientific level. They’ve seen this world many times before, they have already lived and died over and over… but what we do with them is truly unique. I just want to hold on to what I know is unique for as long as possible
I’m looking forward to floating on a cloud and taking advantage of the free harp lessons. I hope they don’t have any silly rules about smoke free zones.

If I can I’ll make sure to haunt every single one of you when I’m gone. No harps just loud drums everytime someone is just about to fall asleep
If your head is wired up to the blood pump thingy, I don’t think we’ll have to worry about you playing drums. Without lungs, would you be able to take snuff? Or would you have to get the nurse to feed it to you through the drip?

Dude my dick would be gone you think I would give a fauk about snuff? HELL NO
Hehe. All the more reason to seek solace in nicotine.
What you would need is an explanation LOL
