why do the tins have to corrode? transfered it to a mrsnuff box, threw the tin away. edm
The tins appear to be bare aluminium, they will get a bit furry. You could always polish them to stop them going furry, if you can be bothered 
Yeah I’m fixing to buy a quantity of large smasboxes and simply decanting every tin i get into a neatly labeled smash container. I prefer those anyway…
so the F&T’s will corrode and ruin the snuff? good to know … mason jar it is. the GH tubs are perfect, screw tops and plastic.
next time I order them will order the bulk, they lookplastic on mrsnuff’s website. edm
They do corrode, but it usually takes a long time or a very damp environment. Even still they are the best snuff tins out there IMO. I generally wipe down the threads and gasket before resealing them. I’m pretty sure this helps. The darker varieties like Princes tend towards this more, but they are still leaps and bounds beyond the WoS tins for moist snuffs. Those are almost invariably rusty.
I transfers my last tin of F&T to the G&H tub worked wonders.
I haven’t noticed any corrosion in my F&T tins yet, oldest are 3 years old. Wilsons tin corrode quite easily though.
I love the F&T tins, they are the best looking, they keep a good seal, dont spill ect. The only thing I dont like abut them is that i cant get my chubby fingers into the bottom!
this was a tin of santa domingo, moist snuff, the dry ones I haven’t had any problems. edm
so HDT is pretty safe then … ? since it is dry ?
Yeah, that’s an issue with the Santa Domingo. Any of those course, moist snuffs will do that, but I’ve noticed Santa Domingo does it at a much faster rate. Oh well, for my nose, SG Black Rappee works as well and doesn’t kill the tin for some reason. And your HDT is safe, @snuffbrant.
I’m with Xander, I think the F&T tins are one of the best tins out there. I like how well they seal and keep the moisture of the snuff in, and the fact that they are good to transport 
. A little hard to pinch from sometimes, but the lid works wonders @Brandasaur : I just realized, we posted a very similar post lol

I love the F&T tins and really hope they will never stop using them since there are damn good looking, good to use and just feel real.
They bring out the true “classyness” of the snuff

Grenades contained snuff? Wow, what a good idea! I can’t think of a better way to turn enemies into friends than by throwing snuff on them.
