Dear snuff fellows, I would like to know your opinion about F&T Morocco…thanks very much in advance.

Welcome Konrad! Salty and weak? Are you sure you bought them fresh and stored them well? I never experienced a salty smell with my snuffs. Regards, Alex

‘Snuff balls’ are usual with a bit more moist snuffs. Maybe some other storage issues by the seller. Sorry, I can’t imagine why they might taste salty. Have you had the same impression with other snuffs from different producers?

That’s a quote of mine, I guess. I don’t think the seller would do such a thing, would she? Maybe it got contaminated by anything else. I’m curious.

this is a most sublime snuff, in my mind. nice and moist not to fine a grind and easy to take really, although I’ve yet to try all the F&T line I have not been disappointed by what I have tried: French Carotte Macouba Morocco Kendal Brown Morlaix

I just went on a F&T buying binge. I love the HDT like everyone else, but the REALLY special ones to me are: Bordeaux Dr. J. H. Justice Macouba Old Paris Princes Special Each of them is what I would describe as a “proprietary scent” in that they aren’t based on one specific essence, like clove, menthol or bergamot. As far as I can tell, Old Paris is made of the remnants of a library that burned down in the 18th century, and Bordeux seems to have been made from essence of post-coital haze and the ground up garb that Pope Innocent III wore when conducting High Mass in the Sistine Chapel. Macouba is like drinking lemonade under a Mimosa tree at dusk with a few Citronella candles lit, an older Italian guy smoking a cigar nearby, and lightening bugs flickering in the background. Not your everyday snuffs, in other words. “Sublime” as saucy_jack sez.

I just got some morocco today, it’s great. The one little weird thing about it is the mixture of the tobacco smell and geranium almost reminds me of this pet shop I went to once. But if you just focus on the sweetness of the geranium, it’s great. Medium nicotine, nice dark brown.

EH actually I take back the pet shop comment, now that I’ve shaken it up and aired it out it just smells like some sweet geranium
