Does anyone else think this would be an awesome snuff to see (WoS) Fribourg & Treyer bring back? Any other suggestions of what one you think they should bring back? Or even better. Will they bring back another one? I hope the answer is yes.

Maybe. Do you have a description? I think they will bring more back, some probably need time to age, so even if they started them when they started the Bureau and Patchouli, they might be already in the pipeline. We had a discussion about this not long back. I think I was hoping for Heliotrope and Asthoroth, and also maybe Verbena.

The bureau is preobably the most disapointing snuff I’ve tried in a long time. It’s not terrible or anything but I don’t like it (currently thinking of what would be a decent trade and if a trade for one tin of snuff is even worth it). Which is my round-about way of saying Mike I hope they do come out with something else soon because I’am not interested in Patchouli and frankly I think bureau sucks donkey ears, so please something soon.

The Patchouli is great, you should give it a shot.

If anyone has taken a look at the “Behind the Bow Windows” PDF on MR.Snuff.com , you will see there were many other F&T flavors that have existed. Then I could order the rest of them to keep the collection complete! .

I will tell you this Mr.Bob. Patchouli is much better than the Bureau, IMHO. But, the Bureau isn’t bad! . I just don’t care for the old grandmother perfume scent

I really dislike bureau. I like the tin aroma. The initial scent is good too but it mutates into too many random scents that are strong. And sadly everytime one of these scents makes me feel like a perfume monster shit in my nose.

Lmfao, bob that is classic. I would highly suggest you try the Patchouli. Its very nice. I think you’ll like it! … Must… Sniff… More F&T’s!

The sad thing is F&T one of my favorites. All of their other snuff except J.R. Justice (which although I like it gives me rebound almost instantly and makes me sneeze all day, I have no idea why). My favorite is Macouba though. (don’t care about the spelling at the moment.)

When I snuff bureau what happens is I cycle through a couple of the scents of other F&T snuffs but they’re all off somehow. I think it’s my nose. From what I’ve heard about the patchouli it sounds like it’s not really much like the way hippies smell is that correct?

Both of those F&T’s are excellent! Bordeaux is definitely one of my favorites, as i’m sure you know by now :-P. @bob : Yes, I believe the Patchouli is “what the hippies smelt like” . It is a strong cologne type scent, to me anyways. But I like it, it has an earthy scent to it as well. Its quite nice.

there are two types of patchouli the leaf and the root. I forget which is which they are similar. but one of them is the stuff hippies always wear that smells quite horrible in my opinion, mostly because it’s usaly applied by the bucket instead of by the drop.

Well, the Patchouli snuff is the cologne smell i’m sure, but I don’t think its too strong. Not sure if the scent is the root or the leaf. But I really like it, its not too strong IMO . Do you like the smell at all in small doses?

added a touch of Gaiwith and hoggarth to the snuff I didn’t like takes off the nasty and now with just a hint of jasmine I now find this snuff really very awesome. By the way I tried this before the absinthe.

I sent WoS an email about a year ago and they seemed to be pretty interested in releasing new/vintage flavors. In fact, a few weeks later we learned of their release of Bureau and Patchouli. Moose, maybe sending them another email will get them interested again. How are your writing skills?

YES! Damn good idea Giaach. I am a pretty decent writer . I could whip up a nice email and send it their way. Personally I want to see their vintage flavors more than new ones. Lots of their old ones sound very very interesting. Do you know the email for WoS? I will write them!

So, I know I am a little slow to the draw sometimes, but I finally emailed Wilsons of Sharrow regarding the rebirth of the old F&T scents. Hopefully I will have a reply from them sometime soon!
