F&T Dr. JR Justice, or Bordeaux and Morlaix ?

The former gives you one snuff, while the latter individually and mixed could give you three.

so it says on the Sheffield site. I never tried. I guess some people like their Bordeaux diluted a bit.

Not me, Bordeaux is fine the way it is!

I thought you hated Bordeaux? I was thinking, Toque Snus Ice is just the menthol and peppermint combined. Royal George is just a mix too maybe.

I hated it for quite some time, about 2 years. For some reason, I took a pinch a few weeks back… VOILA! I love it now. My snuff taste are always changing. Sometimes I can’t stand menthols, other times that is all I want. Same goes for Scotches. As for Seville… that one I thought was REALLY vile!

I have always wondered… why is it called SNUS Ice? Edit: Just read that it was named Snus Ice for the Scandinavian market.

I still haven’t given the Seville a good use yet. My initial sampling just seemed to have a weak essence.

It was too perfumy for me… bleh!

You must have the wrong one, or it lost its scent somehow. I think Seville is the most perfumed of all the F&T’s and that’s saying something, as they are for the most part perfumy snuffs. I had a night with each Seville & Bordeaux when I got them. I couldn’t get enough for some reason. I guess you have to be in the right mood.

That Seville is an acquired taste. It smells like scented toilet paper. It was the only snuff I had for two weeks and sure enough I started to like it.

Seville is probably my favorite F&T snuff, but HDT is pretty close.

I like the Bordeaux I have, but haven’t tried the Morlaix or DRJ. I was inquiring because if DRJ is, in fact, just a 50/50 mix of Bordeaux and Morlaix it would be economical to buy some Morlaix and mix up the DRJ when desired. In that case, 1 + 1 would equal 3…a synergistic outcome.

Seville is one of my favorite snuffs too, I find the flavor very straight forward orange. Today one of my Victorian French snuff boxes is full of wonderful F&T Bordeaux, which I find a good snuff for a laid back, lazy, and sunny weekend ;o)

I like DJRJ. Been a favorite for a few years. Will have to try Morlaix & Bordeaux seperately. While going thru my collection I ran across 5 un-opened large tins of DRJRJ. The tin I have open is a bit dry, but still enjoyable. There’s not really that much snuff that I don’t enjoy. Hoping to finally score a catalog from Stokers. Want the dry snuff tubs & a few pounds of chewing leaf. Freds Choice is my favorite. Butternut comes in a close second. Hope they finally send a catalog my way.

That Fred’s Choice is an excellent chew. I got a case of it not too long ago.

@ ericlessard…I’ve never sniffed toilet paper!! Why would one want to do that? LOL

you should always sniff your toilet paper before you use it just to make sure no one has used it already!

I mixed a smash box of DJRJ and did not think much of it I like the better by them selves. The Bordeaux is my favorite of the two but Seville is highly addictiveand the best of the F&Ts IMHO.

Furthering the toilet paper remark, I find it smells like something from my childhood. There are a couple snuffs like that, and I know my dad snuffed when I was a kid, from a great big GIANT glass snuffbottle with a cork stopper. He’s 59 now, and I mentioned to him last week that I’ve gotten into snuffing, and from 2000 miles away, I could her him start grinning through the phone when he asked me if I had any I could send him. I asked and he couldn’t remember what he snuffed when I was a kid, but that it was mentholated. So, it’s not F&T that I remember smelling, but maybe my grandma’s perfume. Anyway, I agree Seville is a very acquired smell, like Old Paris which is a bit less so. The scent just doesn’t quit.

bigblue1 pardon my english, but does the pope shit in the woods? I was the one who send my dear dad a case of cohibas straight from Havana to get him started on cigars, and I’ll be damned if I don’t send him a 25g of HDT and a 1.15oz of levi garrett.
