Ever go overboard?

One of the things I love about snuff is that if I ever take too many doses, or take way too much snuff in one dose, I can abort and just blow my nose. I have a very low tolerance to nicotine so this happens more than I care to admit. Unfortunately, this is not an option when I smoke too much of a strong cigar or hand rolled cigarette… In these instances I just have to find a cool place to lie down and pray the nausea goes away. So, what say you fair snuffing friends; do you ever go too far and have to pull the ejection Kleenex (so to speak)? :o)

Oh, I thought this thread was going to be about ordering from Mrsnuff. I’ve never experienced overdose with snuff, maybe I’m not doing it right.

LOL @Mouse - If this post was about “going overboard” by ordering too much snuff I fear we would have much more company! ;0)

Yours is not a bad place to be because a little will go along way. The ultimate destination of a nicotine habit is habituation, which is not necessarily better. I would love to get light headed off snuff:)

Occasionally I will feel the same way when I use SNAFU or abraxas premium fin. Its just so damn good I will use alot then a minute later WHOA!

once I was drinking on a boat. Long story short I got drenched.

Ive had a few sickly buzzes but it doesn’t happen much these days. Too much snus is more likely to force me to lie down. When I do get a strong buzz from snuff, its not sickly, just head tingling and can help to keep me awake. I find the snuff buzz very pleasant. More so than with any other tobacco form.

I too find the snuff buzz to be, by far, the best tobacco buzz I’ve had. I think this is a function of the wonderful flavors that are available and the greater control one has over the titration of the nicotine (i.e., you choose how much you get and you can always blow your nose if you miscalculate). As for snus, I’ve used chewing tobacco approximately twice in my life and both resulted in feeling very ill for over an hour. I’ve heard snus is stronger than chewing tobacco, so I can only imagine how horrible it would make me feel. Even with cigarettes I never felt noticeable “better” after smoking. It was just something to pass the time and to feed the addiction. I actually feel “better” after most snuff doses! Thank you all for your comments!

I’ve sent my head spinning badly after a mult-dose pinch of a home-made snuff from Roderick’s rustica. I definitely blew that one out before the end. One of the things I like about snuff is that it’s so hard to overdo it. But you can get there if you take a bus to meet it. I keep trying ‘strong’ pipe tobaccos, and have had some strong cigars, but I’m never impressed by the strength. Nothings ever hit me like that pinch of Rustica, even thinking back to when I smoked cigarettes.

Certainly, last one was with 1 big pinch of honey bee in the nose and a bit more, let´s say half a pinch, in the lip. I was so excited to try it that made it all at once, was a good buzz, a bit of head spin and that´s all but one pinch more and then I´ll be sick for sure!

Closest thing I get to light headed is the hiccups, and those are pretty rare these days. Sigh.

I rarely if ever have gotten a sick feeling from nicotine. A few times from chew. Once from snuff after chain snuffing half a tin of some dean swift out of pure boredom.

I have found that eating something sweet helps, probably for the same reason as drinking OJ or lemonade does… However, given that the sugars are absorbed quicker in liquid form, I imagine your method would be quicker. Probably has something to do with an adrenal reaction stimulated by the infusion of carbohydrates…

I am old, if I had a detox for nicotine I may be able to feel like that someyear.NAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

yeah, when I first started snuffing, I had been off toback for years, I felt euphoric, and quite energized, that was a mere 4 months ago. As my tolerance went up that exhilarated feeling tapered off, real quick.

First time i used snuff (w.e. scotch) my eyes watered, palms got sweaty, and my heart raced, and the back of my head felt like id been kicked by a mule…fun times, but im a long time nic addict so i went full bore and took a massive pinch to each nostril, now after awhile of snuffing i dont get half those efx … kinda sucks lmao, i say snuff it up and enjoy the rush while you can \m/

I don’t know about overboard as far as buzzed but the other day I had more than I usually do (snuff) and my nose drained in the bed. I have to buy my wife new linings

I will say that even though I have a hell of a nicotine tolerance, I have had the ‘new order buzz’ a couple times. Order a bunch of snuff, take a bit of each to try it out, and let the swim begin.
