The first time I smelled this snuff after opening the lid I wanted to fetch a spoon and eat it, it smelled that good to me. This is a very dark brown, coarse ground snuff that does not stay in my nose without pinching after snuffing. Now it is a good thirty days later and I still want to eat this snuff  It comes in a vacuum sealed tin that does not unscrew, rather pry one edge with a knife to release. Very Fresh!  I do wish this snuff was a fine grind, but that is just my preference. I only have two SG snuffs at the moment, this and Black Coffee, but I can truly say that I love them both, despite their coarse grinds. I can smell a delicious vanilla and rich tobacco with this snuff, it reminds me of pipe tobacco that is fermented. This snuff arrived in a very stout 25 gram tin, I do not mess around with the tap boxes when tins are available.  Elmo’s Reserve is a delicious snuff that has a medium nicotine content and is Highly Recommended.

This is next on my list to order. Seems to be a must have for my nose. Too many good reviews. Will post upon tasting. JP.

SG Kendal Brown with tonquin, what’s not to like? This is a great snuff.

This may be a new favorite of mine. The last SG I had was Honey from a tap box, which sucked. But this, this here is amazing. I may need to purchase a truckload of this.

Thanks for the recommendation.

Just got a tin of this in the mail today. Great snuff.

Pares nicely with a pipe full of 1792 flake. Another favorite I need to revisit is Celtic Talisman . @ Pincher -SG makes some awesome moist snuff; Don’t waste your time on tap boxes the SG honey is great from a vacuum tin. Tap boxes are most disappointing and a poor representation of the original snuff. But you found out the hard way.

Each time I ran out of the tap box & opened the vac. tin. That lesson was driven home to me time & time again. And snuff was even better than before, like rediscovery of the snuff. @lunecat absolutely true…except i have found that i first tried Golden Glow in a dried out tap box and loved it but was disappointed when i tried it out fresh from the tin. The rare exception i guess. I just prefer that one dried out. BTW does Firedance smell/taste the same as the SG pipe tobac? I am currently smoking a tin of this and it’s good stuff.
