Eating snuff.

I

Havana Toast (by Sir Walter Scott, SWS in case anyone is wondering). Good enought to eat! Ok I haven’t made a burger or anything but that might be an idea. I just now -for no particular reason- wondered how it would taste on the tougue and turns out it’s very nice. I’ve never thought of doing this with any other snuff. I imagine a floral would be pretty horrible. I think this particular snuff lends itself kind of perfectly. It really is as if I’d been smoking a great cigar and had the taste in my mouth. I just put a little on the back of my hand and gave it a lick and then swill around the tongue. Can’t think off hand of any other snuff that might lend itself to this. I know the Indian snuffs are used around the gum but I don’t personally like the thought of that and my gums aren’t as youthfull as they once were. This I think is better. Anyhow. I think it’s nice. Try it yourself perhaps. Which other snuffs would be good to try doing this? I do sometimes miss the tobacco taste in my mouth from smoking. Maybe I need to get some twist to try?

I’ll occasionally lick my fingers after a fat boxcar. It adds to the whole experience in a way

Goes pretty well with this tobacco flavoured vape too! I have a feeling this could become a regular occurance. Surprisingly long lasting taste maybe helped by the vapour, still nice even getting a little nic through the mouth.

Just wrong chaps … :-&

Brushing one’s teeth with snuff (such as the super moist Cheetak) is rather pleasurably. I understand that oral use of snuff (as a dentifrice) is pretty wide-spread in India, etc.

I saw a survival program where they made toothpaste from charcoal and it looked pretty gross. Probably like brushing with Dholakia Black, arrggggggyyyyucccck

If you want to try another snuff orally give an American Scotch a try. I have a large tin of Superior and I will occasionally use a small spoon to get some in my lower lip like dip. It gives a very smoky sort of taste not too dissimilar to the taste from smoking.

I sometimes put a tiny dab of snuff on my tongue when I’m having trouble catching the scent. Scent and taste are pretty closely linked and often hard to distinguish. It works for me. I tried it with Abraxas Firedrac last night, tasted great.
