Drying prior to grinding

I’m looking for ideas on drying prior to grinding. Here’s what I’ve found in other threads. Oven on a baking sheet, 150ish (F) temperature. Door open for air. Gas or electric okay? Heat lamps (like restaurant food warmer). Maybe enclosed with stainless steel. Would need air movement. Convection oven. Same idea as regular electric oven, but moving air for efficiency. Microwave? Seems unlikely but read it works. Suggestions?

Before I purchased any snuff, I made some out of pipe tobacco to see if it would be my “thing”. I rubbed out the tobacco (if it was a flake), spread it out on a sheet of printer paper, and held it a few feet above a candle (moving it around quite a lot so the paper wouldn’t catch on fire!). I’m sure an oven would do the trick better but this method worked fine for me. Clearly it worked well enough to make a decent snuff or I would have never purchased any and never come here!

That reminds me of a thread I saw on here about a guy who put tobacco in a pot on the stove to dry. The comment (paraphrased) “You really have to keep an eye on it otherwise you are going to make your own toast.”

When I made snuff out of pipe baccy I just left it spread out on a piece of paper overnight to dry and it worked fine
