The new Abraxas Dragun spiced snuff is on route to Mr Snuff, only a small test batch of a 105 units, but there is second, and much larger batch, three weeks behind it. Dragun is a medium ground, light brown and high nicotine snuff made from Nicotine rich rustica. Dragun is a spiced snuff and has a noticeable chilli ‘burn’ following on the burn from the intense tobacco. The effect of the chilli is then smoothed over by a succession of sweet and fragrant spices. With spices like ginger and juniper Dragun almost has a touch of the ‘medicated’ snuff; it certainly cuts through any stuffy head but with no menthol counter congestion. I do hope you will enjoy it.

Wish I had waited a few more days on my most recent order. Well, this way I’ll have the benefit of others’ comments first.

Only 105 tins? That might last two days. But I doubt it. 

 Like bob, Dragun really could be my only snuff. I would prefer a tad more moisture, but likely that would just mess up a perfectly great snuff.

What I find so fascinating is that it’s only been sent as samples to a select few people and it already feels like it’s a legendary product, which is rather fitting given the name. I just might have to sneak an order past the wife just for this snuff because it certainly sound like it would be worth the consequences, lol!

The way I work is to produce a few prototypes of a couple of kilos, if I think one is good enough I get some opinion from people that know their snuffs and then that prototype becomes the market test batch. 105 is a ridiculous amount but I have much more maturing and I will produce as much as is needed, hopefully lots;)

I foresee very regular checking of Mr Snuff over the next few days. Please be restrained, people, and leave some available!

Well, I got mine today. It’s that burn that made me fall in love with spicy food, but now I can have it in my nose too! Was worried it might have been over-hyped in my head a bit, but nope.

@snuffster. Even though I am new to the snuff world, I wanted to extend my eagerness on receiving my order of Dragun. This was my third order with mrsnuff and just like the first two( if not more) I have a should I say… childish? excitement on receiving it. Kind of like a youngster the night before going to Disney World for the first time. And it has been an upmost pleasure and honor to be able to participate on this site with all of you. Thank you.

Any hints as to what it’ll be like…?

The idea is that Dragun is a three part series, each one a natural progression of the one before it. I hope to have them all in production by September, earlier if I can make the time. I think I have to get to grips with demand for Dragun 1 first, because 10 kilos of the stuff has nearly gone in a week and supplying whatever the demand levels off at is my priority. That’s not a complaint by the way;)

Yeah I noticed 100 or so of the stock has sold from Mr.Snuff in the last 1 or 2 days.

Just tried Dragun.  For me it’s like having chinese takeaway in my hooter.  Not love at first snuff, but good none the less.  Time will tell whether this becomes a favourite.  Love the chilly warmth at the end!!

I like how the flavours in Dragun progess from sweet to spicy, it’s weird but bloody lovely, I’ve gone through half my tin already.

I am not too impressed with the scent but I like the spicy feel. That what I get from reading all the different takes on this mix. In the end it’s personal choice to love, like or loathe 

I just got my order in today. I love it. I can’t seem to stop reaching for it. At this rate I’ll have to place another order by the end of the week.

Received mine yesterday… Upon first smelling the jar, it smelled to me more like something you might add to your cooking than shove up your schnoz. Overall, I like it. Love the warm burny chili feeling in my nose.

Haven’t tried mine yet… I’m waiting until I can’t go any longer without trying it and my nose will have to be completly clear of other snuffs. Though I have opened the jar and smelled it. I can see how someone said it reminds them of apple pie.

It’s delicious, but the drip irritates my throat something awful.

I find it very pleasant(I’ve ordered a little jar),near too Gingerbread but more easy to take.

I’m happy to fly with this Dragün.

Just got my Mr. Snuff order with Dragun 140g.
My first few pinches had me coughing even though it is quite moist.
Other than that it is very tasty and kicks nicely.
I am kind of glad they were out of 15g tins.
Exquisite snuff.

This is a mysterious, complex snuff. Definitely spiced apple pudding, a little chili, lots of beautiful tobacco. Recommended for newbies and experienced snuffers.

That I particulary enjoy is going to Dragün to Gingerbread,a castle of shades. @ Snuffster / Good work .

@jeffcraft1‌, I’m glad you posted, because it brought back to life this excellent thread on the Dragun. But I don’t think WOS chocolate chili is anything like Dragun. The spiciness of dragun is not really a powerful chilli burn, more gingery warmth.

Yeah, I am glad to see this, as I have often wondered what the spice in Dragun is. The 15g tins were sold out when I purchased it a month or two ago, so ended up with a 50g tub. It should last forever because I only use a few spoons filled every day just before eating. As far as the chili chocolate goes… you may want to try another chocolate with out the chili… however, as time goes on and you keep using it the burn may lighten up as your body gets used to it. I detected very little chocolate too. If you just really like the chili, mixing it with a stronger chocolate is always a option as well.

In my opinion @jeffcraft1, the very best way to take the burn out of WoS Chili Chocolate is, seeing that this is winter time, take all of it that you have, go outside and scatter it to the wind and watch it blow away into oblivion. This will be a highly effective technique and I guarantee that it will not burn you again. And in case I was not clear enough, I should state that I think the stuff is crap. WoS makes some good snuffs. That is not one of them. And as @JakartaBoy said, Dragun is a great snuff. And while you are at it try FireDrac as well. Both are a bit hot but very enjoyable. And then there is FUBAR Bohica. I can only say that in my opinion, this snuff was designed, tested, and manufactured in the depths of hell. It was conceived in cruelty and malice, and is a true expression of evil. I have learned that Satan takes Bohica when he is in a good mood and feels embarrassed about it. The Bohica restores his nastiness instantly. When WoS Chili Chocolate goes to sleep at night, it dreams of being FUBAR Bohica.

I read somewhere that it should be kept in fridge. Why?

@elestor not the dragun or cafe 11 just the others. There was a problem years back of mold developing. I think Abraxas had sorted it out.  All the moist SWS should be kept in the freezer.

@jayson why don’t you PM @Abraxas  and ask? He just may make more.

that is good the Dragun menthol is my daily snuff. It just agrees with my nose perfectly and is an all around great solid snuff

@n9inchnails - I’m sure I can do some large tubs the next time MS sends me a Cafe 11 order. I hope to get the Dragun packed next week, menthol to follow as soon as I can. I’ve had a few hold ups this year and had to take some time off but I’m getting back into the swing of things now.

Oh man, the Dragun and thread being resurrected…  I just had a spoonful for everyone who is out… this stuff makes me cough. I keep every snuff that I enjoy in the fridge. It is very hot and dry inside my house. But I have had a 50g tin that im slowly spooning away at. The flavor seems to be aging nicely. I look forward to anything new.
