Don’t Leave Home Without It

J

I went to the antique mall this past weekend just to have a look around. I set out with a couple snuffs and a flask full of Four Roses Single Barrel. I was halfway through the mall and my mind got set on the toast that I had in my pocket. I reached in my pocket and realized that I had decided on two snuffs prior to leaving the house and neither were toasts. I had my mind so set on enjoying a toast and then didn’t have it. It was a moment for me. I will never leave the house without a toast in tow again. Anyone else have a snuff that they just don’t leave home without?

I have a small case that takes most of my snuff collections that goes just about everywhere with me - lives in my locker at work, in my car when I go out, and in my living room at home. If I’m down to pockets only it’s always SG Black Coffee and usually an Indian snuff and couple of others - F&T Santo Domingo lately has become a favourite.

If nothing else I’ll make sure I’ve got my White Elephant with me.

I carry the Toque flask on my key chain filled with Quit. I also have a slim hand turned Brazilian rosewood key fob filled with HDT. It is rare I forget to bring snuff with me. These two always satisfy

Same, it’s optimal for public use for me because the quantity needed is relatively small, it’s vaguely flesh-toned, it doesn’t make too much snot and it’ll keep me going for at least an hour.

In packing my case for Christmas travels around NZ I had limited space. After much debate I opted to take the following based on ensuring I had a nice variety. White Elephant F&T HDT Lundy Foot Spanish Gem Dragun Dholakia SST Kailash Cob Gold If my MrSnuff order arrives before I leave all this will probably be out the window!

I used to carry a few different kinds around… Now I just use one kind all day and save mornings and evenings for a few rounds of different flavors. It was just too much stuff in the pocket. I do keep some emergency snuff on my keyring of extra dry snuf, just in case I fail to remember my pocket tin.

I always have a small Patrick Collins snuff box filled with SG SP Scotch in my pocket.

I don’t use snuff outside the house, but if I did Mc Chryatals O&G would be my choice.

Yesterday, my “brand new to snuffing” coworker gave me a great little gift… a little wooden Mr Snuff box! I’ve been going back and forth about which snuff will have a permanent home in my first little snuffbox and I’ve decided the honor will go to… (I’m with you, @stanthony23 ) McChrystal’s O&G!!

I

…an American Scotch or a Toast!

If you can mix it with Samuel Gawith black coffee, 50/50. I’ve just tried it and it’s fantastic. <:-P

If you’re passing through Nelson, let me know. A beer and a wee toot perhaps

I always have a tin of lundy foot with me thats a must.

NB Madras is my work day snuff. I do get the urge for some menthol from time to time and wish I had some L260 with me.

Never leave the house without my silver box full of Kailash. The last time I forgot my snuff I turned around and drove home even though it made me late for work.
