I’ve always been a bugger for having a few cans after work. It used to be most nights, 3-4 cans to stave off post-work fatigue (the other nights I was at the pub). This has happened for probably the last 10-12 years. It would get to about 8pm, I’d be very tired, so I’d go to the offie for a four pack. Hardly big drinking I know, but couldn’t be healthy long-term. Since starting with the snuff, as my interest/intake has increased (still don’t have a lot though) I have lost the fatigue (that’ll be the snuff I know) but more interestingly (for me anyway) my desire to go and get some cans has gone. This is no flash-in-the-pan, it’s being going on for months now. It’s saving me a fortune, and probably my health. Has anyone else experienced anything similar? I’m well pleased. Tea and snuff - the future !!

Snuff is very attractive once you have it on the nostrils, I’m sure that snuff will give you a “push” to reduce cans and in anyway to bring you a new interest all day long. i have feel the same many times with snuff, but in the other hand maybe its our self that needs change and snuff help a lot…

Nope, I still want to get a beer or whiskey buzz every night. I have cut way down on my pipe smoking, though.

Your so lucky you found snuff. Think of all the money you could had saved 10 -12 years. The big trick is actually saving the money. I had stopped buying cigarettes, I just spend that money on other less deadly addictions.

I only have drink or two at Saturdays so I’m not much on the drinking thing— glad snuff has improved your lot though!

Yes sounds a good improvement on your situation. I must admit if I had to a choose between alcohol (whisky, brandy) and snuff although I would be much aggrieved I would choose snuff…

@Hoffwell Until snuff, I had a very similar drinking pattern to you. I didn’t have a drink in January for charity. Raised £260. Not bad, but snuff definitely helped me through it. Now it’s February and I’ve had 5 pints in six days, three of which were at a wedding. In short, snuff has helped me to reduce my drinking AND completely stop smoking cigs. I need high nic snuffs though! Spare cash, better health and snuff!

Snuff is one of the basic foundations for a healthy life-style. I thought everyone knew that!

I drink all I can get my hands on nothing like a 6am beer

well, there’s a difference between a 6am beer after being up all night, or a 6am beer upon waking. Both are bad, but for different reasons. (edit: as I write this at 3:16 am, good grief!)

Personally, If I am tired the lasting I want is alcohol because it is just going to make me feel more haggard. So when I am fatigued I tend to veer towards nicotine and caffeine, tends to perk me right up. Then again I am not a huge drinker, however, I feel as if you are better off snuffing and drinking some tea after work, than drinking every night. IMHO I think monetarily and health wise you make the right decision.
