From those that have experience with the above three snuffs, do you notice a difference in Texture / Ease of snuff taking / Scent / Nicotine uptake? Currently I use 6 photo Cheetah and Dolakhia White. My 41 photo white elephant is in the mail:( Whats interesting is that I personally find 6 photo Cheetah to be easier to take then Dolakhia white, I also find it has a stronger nicotine hit. I’ve heard from others they are basically the same snuff, but I tend to think they are actually completely different. I won’t be able to comment on the White elephant until I receive it, but I’m curious to read what I can expect in comparison to the other two snuffs I have. Thoughts?
Well cheeta is obviously scented, so there’s one major difference; white elephant and d white are definitely different, as is willie pete. Willie pete smells really rank and gross and I think it might be the strongest. It is also the finest and driest IMO. D white is second driest and finest and probably about the same strength as White Elephant. D White is whiter than White Elephant but not as white as Willie Pete. D White has more ammonia and fish smell, white elephant is sweeter creamier and softer. But the D white does mellow in the tub as you go through it too. I like them all a lot besides Cheeta but White Elephant is my favorite.
Who makes Willie Pete? I ordered some Fubar Willie Pete in an order that I’m waiting on, but that is an American Snuff. I don’t know where to find Fubar Indian snuffs?
Willie Pete is made by the indian Dholakia company for the Western/American market
So Fubar Willie Pete (American) Is in fact an Indian Dolakhia snuff? I also ordered Fubar Grunt. I’m worried it is shit though… I tend to have this strange Idea in my mind that any kind of american tobacco is garbage. Strictly the cheapest worst ingredients to make the most amount of money and offer the user a very strong “cheap” Buzz… This is mostly due to Skoal and Copenhagen chew’s or american cigarettes etc.
Grunt is a good solid snuff in my opinion.
The FUBAR line is indeed made by Dholakia, they aren’t American snuffs they are Indian snuffs made for the American market and commissioned by Mr.Snuff
That is awesome to know! I’ll definitely order more Fubar then. When I saw it was under : American snuffs" And then you have pictures of grenades on the snuff containers etc etc I’m thinking oh lord… can’t get more american then this. But I am in love with Indian snuffs, they got there tobacco right! Especially Gutchka, I rarely chew it as its horrible for your teeth but a great pan parag Gutkha with a mix of Slaked lime, Beetle nut, Tobacco and spices is to die for.

I gotta admit, I tend to share that prejudice. I’m probably wrong, but there’s still so many British and Indian snuffs that I haven’t tried, so I’ll put off confronting it for a while yet. Even if they are really Indian, I really don’t like the branding of the Fubar line, although I did go so far as to order 25 grams of Bohican. When I was in Tibet, I picked up 100 grams of another white snuff, called Rajaram Hazrowala. From the name, I’d guess it was an Indian import, but it was sold in crappy plastic bags and cost about half the price of the other snuffs available there. I’d have to say that it’s not as good as any of the whites you can get from Mr Snuff – it’s even finer and has a slightly soggy, vinegary taste to it. But it shows that there are other whites out there that aren’t so readily available.
FUBAR Grunt is repulsive to me. I don’t like its smell of nasty, stale cigarette ashes and stale, cheap cigar ashes. I understand that it once had a coconut fragrance but apparently it was changed. Very sad.
Out of all the Indian Whites I’ve tried, I actually think I like Willie Pete the best for pure nicotine absorption due to increased surface area due to the ultra fine powder perhaps its easily absorbed.
The more I sit with it, the more I like it. First time I bought it, it smelled like an aquarium and I was turned off but this last one I got doesn’t really have a smell albeit maybe a slight bleach smell. Hard to describe and my scent of smell is just not as keen anymore but it doesn’t smell bad.
I made a mix out of Indian whites with: WP, WE, D white, W horse and its a nice mix, but all the plain Indian whites are very similar in my opinion. They’re worth a try.
I know it’s been a minute, but North America was colonized on animal pelts and tobacco. We have more good tobacco than terrible brands. And we have a lot of terrible brands.
Very true, but isn’t Fubar Indian?
Sure is. But I’ve noticed India’s tendency to go abroad for some source material. I know nothing about the conglomerate of material in FUBAR, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they used a minute amount of Kentucky sun grown from Italy or the US in at least one variety. I personally can’t buy the stuff, every race truck I’ve rolled got “FUBAR” spray painted down the side of it before going into the trailer.
Shame , the Fubar Mango (non menthol) might suit you .
So far as the OP goes the strongest white I’ve had was White Elephant . However it did seem to be batch dependent for me . The ones I have in the stash right now don’t hit like earlier tins .
The one I’ve taken most is Cheeta , mostly because of the cost .
Had all of them but right off them at the moment . Seems a very angry way to take snuff .
