Long time lurker here, need your help. Long story short , went from cigs to snuff and now my nose is cloged.

It may be snuff related or not ,but the nose is furios atm. I can’t snuff anything and i need tabacco. I have a very busy time at work atm. Smoking is not a option (i work from home and my family doesn’t aprove of smoking). I can’t buy snus or dip (im in the eu) and it would take i don’t have any tabacco leaf left for snus manufacture.

Is it ok to dip nasal snuff? I tried it and i guess it is like american dip. Lower lip, and get your spitton. After some sessions, my mucosa where i did put the snuff feels , like, a bit inflamed and kinda itchy. It goes away after some hours of abstinece. It normal? (i never tried any oral bacco till now).

Welcome!

Add a bit of water in your snuff in a container to make it “moist”. It makes it a bit easier to dip. Don’t swallow the spit , it will really upset you stomach. After you finish dipping, wash your mouth with water.

You can also try tabacco tea, but i guess you don’t have any leaf left.

Personally I didn’t have any problems with dipping snuff but i didn’t do it for a long time. It can lead to gum and teeth problems and even cancer but i don’t know much about the subject. Definitely safer than cigarettes, tho. In the short term it should be ok to use

thank you for your tips!

Short term is a safe bet i guess. Hope my snoz will get better

If your new to dipping it’s tears up your gums pretty bad at first. After awhile your gums get used to it. I’ve been dipping grizzley and Copenhagen for years and sometimes I sprinkle some mentholated snuff in. It’s a little more bitter and way more fine than Longcut snuff. I would recommend trying a very course cut snuff and adding some moisture such as water or liquid vanilla extract but not to much if you have no access to dip or snus

No dip or snus around here. I had a good experience with dipping most nasal snuff. It was a coarser variety. Interesting product. Thanks for the tips
